And it can't be said enough, but Manny Machado is a fucking cheap shot piece of shit.
He's the Mr.Utley of baseball

Hours after mass murder of American Jews in their house of worship, this is your president's greatest concern.

Sad.

Rafi Devers still scares me, and I'm acutely aware of the KoD, but the baby-faced assasin, seems to be growing up.

I still expect some stumbles, and he'll stumble again, but (I forget if it was game 2 or 3) he showed a take charge confidence at 3rd that I loved to see. There was no hesitancy, he was making plays.

And last night after his go-ahead rbi single in the 9th, he dives and hoovers a hot-shot and then fires an absolute rocket across the field to nab Machado.

It was impressive.

Nunez is a decent player, but I think the Red Sox are doing the other team a favor if they pkay him rather than Devers.

I generally agree. Devers has a higher ceiling but a lower floor than a healthy Nunez. Some of Devers throws have reminded me of NASA rocket launches in the late 50s, you just don't know where its going to go.  But he's showing a nice "clutchiness" on a big stage.

Nunez has been playing hurt, and his Game 3 slapstick performance was an adventure/misadventure hi-light film all in itself.

Devers started G1 v Kershaw, so I'm guessing he's playing tonight.

So its a lock it'll be Nunez.

Apparently yelling fire and brimstone in the dugout works.  Wonder what Sale said.

Well, he's hurt, so.....

Great play by the kid last night.  He's been up and down with the glove - has to feel good.

Oh, yeah - and nice sawed off job by Tendi.  Pearce made him a  bit of a hero.

heh

(Anyone else think Turner could have had the force at third on that play?)

With a win tonight Sale snatches the World Series MVP honor from Price - with Pearce then likely having claim.

Havent looked at the composites - not sure who else might factor in

I thought the Dodgers were going to win last night when Puig hit the home run, but they lost.

We will see what happens tonight. I am sure it will be an exciting game. I do not expect the Dodgers to go down easy, and they still have a chance of winning the World Series. They can pull off the Dodger miracle of 2018. Boy, these Red Sox are tough.

Salute,

Tony V.

I think if Boston wins tonight, the series MVP is clean Ryan Madson.

Dave Roberts' reinventing the game continues to benefit his opponent (Jansen in the 8th the lead example).

Kiki Hernandez bats third tonight.  Can you envision his making the last out as Manny Fucking Machado waits on deck?

12 outs to go.  How many does Price get?

Sad now to hear Hill took himself out of Game 4.

Sadder still that Roberts didnt just tell the press he was taking Hill out anyway.
