Baseball ratings have been in general decline for over 30 years, this is not new. Yet you feel compelled to focus on 2018 to complain about the demise of baseball and how its boring.

Three months ago, when the philllies were over .500, your posts, when they won, were of the young exciting phitin' phils.,

And when the collapsed in early August so did your posts and enthusiasm.

But your trolling and meaningless and joyless existence continues, independent of anything.

You try but fail to suck the fun from sports.

I think you're the only one who consistently misses the point, as you never understand the point.

Douche. You don't seem to understand what's going on.

Maybe go read all those articles, and consider they ate just the top of the iceberg.

The game being played now is not the game of baseball.

It's dead. Bereft of life, it has ceased to be. It is an era if ex-baseball.

The fact that you define your life by what you've been sold is on you, nit me.

Run along and bask in your meaningless and tepud existence.

You also suck at Monty Python.

If you don't like baseball or find it boring you would really be better off finding something you like or understand.

And troll, perhaps you should read the articles, many of which are repetitve about the declining ratings, or written well before the '18 post-season was played, so they can hardly be critical of the quality of play of the post-season teams.

So feel free to google "baseball  dead" to define your terms, and your feeling about baseball, and I'll re-watch and re-enjoy the classic games of the '18 post-season, like Game 4 of the '18 ALCS, which was a gem of a baseball game, an all-time classic, or the 18-inning marathon Game 3 of the '18 World Series. a true epic baseball battle for the ages.

And you can go choke on a cheese-steak, wit or witout, you sad envious loser asshole troll.

I like baseball. Dare say I love it. What we are given now is not baseball. Been consistent on that fir many years.

But you keep missing the obvious because you don't toit for the game to succeed. You only root for the laundry.

It's not my problem you can't take in the forest because you're consumed by one tree.   That's your issue. Well, that and the fact that you take everything said by any poster personally.

And, Douche, if you missed the key phrase that it's been dying all season, then, that's a failure on your part.

RIF, dipshit. Reading is fundamental.

You may now proceed to try to catch up with reality.

when the phillies were winning, you were all about the exciting vibrant "Phitin' phils, yet when they gagged in August you stopped posting about them and by season's end you were all about baseball is dyin and is boring.

no one has denied baseball has some issues about the game and has had issues for years.

But what you miss is your blatant hypocrisy.

Whats funny is that the Sox played exciting baseball', they put the ball in play, played hit and run, stole bases, hit for power, played very good defense and had reasonably good pitching,

and proved they were the best team in baseball.

and they were fun and played with an attitude and are young.

If you had a clue about baseball or really liked it, you would recognize those Facts, but instead your head is so far up your ass and your prjeudice and obsession so pronounced you miss the fun and  the sport of the sport.

And if you don't like baseball as it is, find something else until the phillies miraculously save the game.

in the meantime at least you have your cluelessness and hypocrisy to insulate yourself

No doubt baseball is better when the Padres are good.

I'll wait that out and enjoy it, meanwhile.

Too bad you can't separate the message from the messenger. You might begin to grasp the sport's real problems.

Might.
