I have not paid as much attention to the Ryder Cup selection process this year, but I think Fowler was a captain's pick.  Given how poorly he has played the last few months, this could be the worst decision I've seen in the last 20 years.  I know Phil likes playing with Fowler, so it is possible he had some influence over Love III on this.  If so, just keep playing and stop weighing in Phil.

I have nothing against Ricky Fowler, but it was pretty clear that he just isn't playing well

Good decision to Pair Michelson with Kuchar this afternoon and leave Fowler on the bench.

Tomorrow, do your best to pair Fowler against Rory and just concede that point.

You can tell a lot about a man by the way he plays golf, and who he plays with.

Fun Tournament in New Orleans this weekend.   Men's 'team' golf.  A format which I don't believe has been seen for many years on the PGA Tour.  There is a lot of excitement in the inner circles and I would not be surprised to see one or two more of these within a few years and maybe one on the Senior Tour also in the next year or two.
