Los Angeles killed 1,500 cats last month in shelters, that is horrible, instead they need to spay and neuter the cats and then they need to turn the cats loose in areas where rats are a problem, such as in China Town, and on Olvera Street, etc. In Rome they let the cats roam free in order to control the rodent population, and Rome has charities which feed and take care of the cats, etc. We need to sterilize the cats and we need to turn them loose to control the rodent population. And the warehouses all have cats, etc, when I lived in Malibu we had 7 cats to control the rodent population there.

Rep. Lou Correa

Last week, I presented almost $1 million to the Alternative Response Program in Santa Ana - which deploys social workers and clinicians to respond to non-emergency 911 calls.
By de-escalating situations with informed care, this program helps emergency services keep our community safe.

------

We must train more Crisis Intervention Specialists to help with mental illness, etc.

We also must provide more secret safe houses for the abused women and their children, and the cities can work together to trade and hide the abused women and their children, Anaheim can trade abused women with Denver, etc, to hide the women and their children. ( We also should give all of the abused women a copy of the book "On Becoming a Person" by Carl Rogers. )

Furthermore, we must send the Foster Youth to college for free.

Salute,

Tony V.

Drug etc cartels armed with automatic weapons and money seem to be controlling LA, CA and USA...if US tv shows, newspapers and movies are anything to go by.

I was a teen in the 1980s when Pablo Escobar and the Colombians were running cocaine, along with the Peruvians and Bolivians. It was a crazy time, we had discos like in "Saturday Night Fever" in Lancaster the club was "The Smoke Eye" and people danced and partied and everyone was doing cocaine. Then, to make it crazier, the cocaine was a crime and you could go to prison for having cocaine or for selling cocaine, so they would kill the snitches, but they were paranoid and on cocaine and they were out of their minds, they were scary people. Crazy people on cocaine with guns, etc, and money, it was a scary time. It is a miracle that I survived. And then the clubs in Hollywood that are owned by the Italian mafia, luckily those guys always liked me, but the 1980s were scary when the cocaine was at its peak.

Now the movies and television shows are all made in Canada, and they are out of touch with Hollywood and with California. Newsom is giving $750 Million in incentives to bring the film and television industry back to Hollywood so the movies and television shows will get better and they will represent us better because we will be making our own shows again.

In Hollywood, and in New York, the Jews and the Italians are at the top, and in Las Vegas too. In San Francisco it is the Chinese, and the Italians, and the Russians, etc. New York also has Russians, etc.

The residents at Empire West will be busy as the new film and television jobs are created, and hopefully we can bring film and television jobs to Anaheim, and to Malibu, and to Lancaster, etc. Latigo Beach in Malibu is a nice spot for artists to live as well.

The people from the Philippines are also helping the poor in California, etc, the cousin of Gloria Arroyo was here helping the homeless all of her life, etc. I invited the San Miguel Corporation from the Philippines to come do Business here in Hollywood, and in San Francisco, and in Oakland, and in San Bernardino, etc. My richest friends were from the Philippines.

The most powerful man who I ever had lunch with was Lew Wasserman who was the most powerful man in Show Business at that time, he used to eat with the workers at the cafeteria at Universal Studios. I also escorted Phyllis Diller at Bob Hope's Birthday Party when I worked at Universal. Universal was grooming me to be a leader, I learned a lot while I worked at Universal. I would love to own Universal Studios someday, we will see what happens.

And in my neighborhood the local gang is "La Fabrica" which means "The Factory" and they are an old Mexican-American gang that helped to protect the farm workers here, etc, and they protect each other in prison, etc.

Steven Spielberg lives in Santa Monica, and hopefully he will create more projects here locally in California, and Spielberg has his office at Universal.

Better movies will be made once we start making more movies and television shows here in California again.

Salute,

The whole meth scene is bikers, and biker gangs, and nazi low riders, and skin heads, etc, and they are paranoid and scary people on meth, I avoid that scene. I hate meth. And as they get older their teeth fall out and their teeth rot and they look like shit from doing meth, and a lot of them just commit suicide when they get old. Meth is a horrible drug.

Here in Anaheim right now we have a problem with heroin, and with fentanyl. The heroin is coming from Afghanistan. We need to get the people of Afghanistan to grow cotton instead of opium poppies. And they can grow pot and they can make hash to export, etc.

We need to make marijuana completely legal and easy to get, and people can drink coffee in the morning, and they can drink wine in the evening, etc.

We need to teach all children that ONE PILL CAN KILL.

I also support Father Boyle and Homeboy Industries.

Peace.

Yesterday Australia (some say for votes in W and SW Sydney) ...and most other countries voted for a two state solution in Israel/Palestine.
Lovely...half each, problem solved, everyone happy.
Peace, love and harmony to rule the landscape.

How would the "half each" be divided up?
Who would govern and police the new Palestine so there would never again be attacks on Israel?
Who would be paying for it all?

Sounds like when you challenge democracy in South Korea, its elected representatives cry game on!

Less than two hours after Yoon's declaration, MPs forced their way into the National Assembly and voted to block his decision - some broke through barricades.  The parliament speaker told the BBC he climbed over a wall.

We may need some of that spirit pretty soon.

One thing about the arts is the whole issue of fame and fans, and some people take the issue of being a role model for their fans very seriously.

I watched "Rocky" for the first time with a group of orphans at a Boys Ranch, Los Angeles used to have Boys Ranches in the desert in Lancaster for the orphans and for the boys who had problems with the law, etc. My Mother cut the hair for the boys, while I watched "Rocky" with them. The boys all had nick-names such as "Spider," etc, and none of them used real names. Anyhow, Sylvester Stallone was a hero for those orphans at the Boys Ranch, and he reached those boys in ways that no one else could.

Roy Rogers took being a role model for his fans very seriously as well.

I have a friend who is in the music business in Venice and he is a hero to the people there, Jon Nelson, he was in the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Suicidal Tendencies and other bands, they love him in Venice, his bands now are "No Reaction" and "Cognitive Dissonance" and he has other stuff going on, they respect him a lot in Venice.

Of note, Natalie Portman has a degree in Psychology from Harvard, and so does Muzi who is the daughter of the President of China, Natalie and Muzi should join together to help the homeless and the mentally ill, etc, they can go see the Mental Health Association in Santa Ana, etc, and they can go see the Wellness Center in Orange, and maybe they can help people.

Elizabeth Taylor said that the best use of fame is to help other people, and she raised money to help in the fight against AIDS, etc, she was great.

I respect people who use their fame to help other people.

One thing, we need to educate and teach the people of Palestine good manners and we need to teach them right from wrong, we need to teach them not to rape people, etc. There needs to be rule of law, and people need to be held to acceptable standards of behavior. So, they need schools, and cops, and laws, and judges and jails, etc. They also need an economy and jobs. And like the Bible says, "If a man does not work then neither should he eat." We need to teach the Palestinians the joy of hard work.

The Jews work and they have an economy, the Muslims need to learn how to work too and how to have an economy.

The Christians can take over Lebanon, and the prisoners from Latin America can be released and sent to Lebanon, we can partner the former prisoners with prostitutes for wives and they can be sent to Lebanon, etc.

The United Nations and the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund can all help in the Middle East.

Kiwanis International can also help the children, etc, and there is a Kiwanis Village in Victoria, British Columbia.

Of note, the people can get in debt to themselves, instead of getting in debt to other people, they can form their own Banks and they can borrow money from themselves and they can get in debt to themselves. With the USA then Alexander Hamilton formed the Bank of New York so that the USA could borrow money from ourselves instead of borrowing money from foreign nations, etc, and the Bank of New York was the first company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

The people in the Middle East also need Labor Unions like the United Farm Workers, and like the Teamsters, etc, and they need good labor laws and fair pay, etc.

ROFL!
No, the voters rejected  those who demonize their opponents, try to jail them, or slander and libel them as fascists, Hitler, etc.
The 2024 results gave Trump millions more popular votes than he got in  2020 and 90 more electoral votes in all 8 battleground states and a romp in the electoral college.
The Kamala vote was 7 million LESS than Biden in 2020 which , regardless where those votes went, was a landslide movement toward Trump.
70 per cent of the country said the democrats were moving the country in the wrong direction.
Ergo an election that moved the USA BACK to democracy.

Not libel if they are fascists.  Thanks for shouting SCOREBOARD again, thus reassuring us you are still you.

Meanwhile speaking of fascists -

Just because Amnesty Intl says something doesn't make it true.
Many people worldwide are only looking at one side of the war...and war is what it is.
Hamas is a proscribed terrorist organistion.
Israel left Gaza in 2005.
The Palestinians elected Hamas to govern them, and 70% of Gazans still support Hamas the terrorists...experts say.
Now Hamas will still be governing Gaza jointly if that proposal gets up.
One might wonder how long it would be before Hamas took total control and attacked Israel again.

The Oct 7 barbaric, evil torture murder/ burning alive of Jewish families...just like in the Holocaust, are obviously being denied by people seemingly with agendas or ignorance.

Don't see the UN, Amnesty Intl or anyone else sending an army into Gaza to fight the terrorists and their supporters to free the hostages and free Israel from attack.

Give me funding and let me help. And like I told Mayor Bass is to let me into the cookie jar. The people will get help if they let me into the cookie jar.

We can release the prisoners from Latin America, together with prostitutes for wives, to Lebanon, and the Christians can take control of Lebanon.

Shakira and Sofia Vergara can open restaurants in New Orleans, Louisiana, etc.

And the coffee from Colombia enters the ports in New Orleans.

And remember to support Kiwanis International and the Peace Corps, etc.
