Universal Studios in Hollywood has discounted rooms at their Hotels for people whom have lost homes here in the fires. And they can stroll the City Walk to ease their minds, and they can eat and drink at the restaurants there, etc.
The Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills is a nice Hotel too, and there is the Mall across the street, and they also have the Beverly Hills Free Clinic there on Beverly Blvd for people who need medical care, etc.
The Beverly Hills Hotel is nice if you are rich, and they have bungalows where Howard Hughes used to hang out, and when I went there to apply for a job I met Hugh Hefner. I also applied for a job at the Ritz in Pasadena, that is a nice Hotel.
Of note, now is a good time for the Churches to show the love of Christ to the homeless and to the suffering, and to give aid to the fire-fighters, etc. The ladies from the church can feed everyone, etc. And then in the future when everyone needs home insurance then they can buy insurance from the Knights of Columbus, etc.
The Teamsters at the Bakeries can help to feed everyone, etc.
And in the future we need to bring in the Basques with herds of sheep, cattle, and goats, to reduce fire dangers, etc, and we can put in water sprinkler systems, etc. More water dropping air craft can be built in Mojave, etc.
People need to come together to help each other through the crisis.
So sad, I hate to see people lose their homes. But, on the bright side they can bring in Santiago Calatrava as they rebuild, and they can bring in the best architects from around the world as everyone rebuilds, and they can have cobblestones and landscaping and fountains, and trees, and it can be nicer than before, they can build it back better. And people can work to prevent future fires like this from occurring, the sheep can help, etc.
Salute,
Tony V.
