For the people out on the sidewalks in tents homeless, they need help, they cannot help themselves. In Orange County we have had teamwork happening between charities and churches and also from wealthy immigrants from the Philippines, and with the help of the federal, state, county, and city governments. Our Wellness Center in Orange was created by a bunch of groups working together as a team.
Now, we have a new program with Fullerton Community College which is training people for jobs at Disney, people can train for good jobs which will pay them enough to rent their own apartment.
Also many people can go to work managing homeless shelters, and people can train to help the homeless, and to be crisis intervention specialists, etc.
In Los Angeles the problem is a lot worse than in Orange County, and I recommend sending people to work in gardens in Merced, and in Napa, and also land is cheap in Battle Mountain, Nevada, they can grow food and they can raise animals and they can make cheese, etc. For some people the farm life is the way for them to go. And meanwhile Rick Caruso wants to build a lot of new housing, and he wants to help the homeless people.
We also need for people to work in the forests to prevent forest fires, etc. We can hire the homeless people to live and work in the forests.
Salute,
Tony V.
