California is the first state to make electric cars mandatory. Now it's telling owners not to charge them.

Well there you go.

Mandatory is madness.
Sensible transition is wonderful.

California needs high speed trains, and more subways.

The highways are over-crowded as it is, people need to get out of their cars and people need to be able to ride the trains and buses and subways.

And Los Angeles used to have a great trolley system, we need to bring back the trolley cars.

We also need to become more bicycle friendly, etc.

Salute,

In Arid Zone-ah, the sandstorm of regressivism continues.

The old (abortion ban) law was first enacted among a set of laws known as the Howell Code adopted by the 1st Arizona Territorial Legislature in 1864. Legislative researchers said it remained in the penal code in 1901 and was readopted in subsequent rewrites, including in the 1970s.

The GOP candidates got real quiet.  Their sweaty brows, no doubt, knitted in concentration as to how to not sabotage their campaigns.  I trust that Arizona Democrats are smart enough, owing to the relentless challenge of, er, being Arizona Democrats, to exploit this moment to the max.

Universal Studios is working together with Homeboy Industries to offer entry level Production Assistant jobs to former young people who have had problems, part of going clean and honest is having an honest job and being able to make honest money. The Entertainment Industry is the top industry here in Hollywood, and it is good that the studios are working together with Homeboy Industries.

One of my favorite directors who works for Universal is Rob Zombie, it would be great if the young people could be assistants for Rob Zombie.

We also have film schools where the former gang members can study filmmaking and they can study writing, and we have acting schools, etc, Southern California has great schools.

I cannot even imagine the horror of going to school, and living in bambuland with my name being bambu-zombie.
A hollywood director would likely be respected and treasured with such a name...wouldn't happen in my world.
Well it might if you were rich and powerful...but only then.

Yikes!

https://www.adn.com/politics/2022/09/22/judge-rules-wasilla-lawmaker-likely-ineligible-for-office-due-to-oath-keepers-membership-delaying-election-certification-until-trial-concludes/

...If Eastman wins the election, and is deemed eligible to hold public office, he can be seated in the House of Representatives in January. If he wins reelection and is deemed ineligible to hold public office, the Alaska Division of Elections can exclude Eastman from the ranked choice voting tabulation process, meaning votes for him would go to the voters next-highest choices.

A nicely done decision.  Defuses disenfranchisement either way.

KWTV - NEWS 9

5 hours

BRITISH POUND: The British pound has plunged, sliding against the U.S. dollar to touch an all-time low.

----------------

The British are going to expand exports, the lower pound will make British made products more affordable in the USA, which is going to create jobs in England.

And lowering taxes in England for the British will help their economy as well.

They need low taxes with high exports, with good labor unions and labor laws so that the workers benefit from their labor, and their economy will improve quickly.

Salute,

Tony V.

His real name is Robert Cummings...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rob_Zombie

He is from Massachusetts.

Rob is one of the best modern filmmakers at Universal, and he does a lot of stuff for Halloween and for Horror which is popular this time of year, Rob Zombie would be a good guy to help the youth from Homeboy Industries. As they connect Homeboy Industries up with Universal, then Rob Zombie would be a good man to send the youth to, the youth can all be assistants for Rob Zombie, and he can put them all to work, and the people from Homeboy Industries can help Rob at the Universal theme park during Halloween, etc.

Salute,

Tony V.

A new book reveals that House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D N.Y., was at odds with how House Select Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D Calif., and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi s handling of impeachment proceedings against former President Trump, insisting that the methods used by the prominent Democrats were  unconstitutional and could be used to attack the party.

Which was obvious but censored by the MSM and big tech.
