Wanna be a "climate change emergency" warrior?
Wanna go public and make statements that people "should stop flying in planes to save the planet" or the like?
Wanna set yourself up as a poster child for the *revolution*?
Lovely, no harm in caring about the future, people, and the planet.
Before you do that though, you might want to cast a critical eye over your lifestyle and see if there's anything in it that might cause you *grief*.
Like the fact that you had flown in a jet plane to Fiji for a holiday only a few months ago...for instance.
Wanna buy a ticket to ride the "Climate Change Express"?    You'll need to have thick skin like a crocodile because questions, ridicule etc could come at you thick and fast, as has happened to one teen girl in bambuworld...her mother outraged at "the way my daughter has been treated".

Nothing confirms Bambu's world view that "the world is a terrible place and everybody should be scared about everything all the time" better than a natural disaster.

Now there's a run on the banks in Britain as the pound tanks.
Yes, cash is king.
Best not to tell anyone where your cash stash is.
I was at the supermarket the other day.....(gotta stock up on food, never know when the blackouts are gonna start now that the green dreamers in bambuworld are going *super crazy* against fossil fuels).....arrived at the checkout, the nice lady packed all my groceries neatly in the plastic bags, early in the day, and life  was grand.
Grand...until...it came time to pay and the three cards from a major bank I tried to use came up "denied".
Banks...baaah.

*
The world is becoming a more terrible place every day...look around,  closely.

Maybe try paying your bills.

Wasn't my fault, there was enough money in the 3 "debit card" savings accounts (Visa, MasterCard, cards using your own cash funds.)
It was Mon morning 7.30am and the major bank's computers must've slept in.
Luckily my card from the biggest bank did work and I was saved.
But, what if it hadn't?
Cash in king. I've rejoined the cash monarchy.

Bambu, sell stuff to the tourists.

We have 50,000 tourists per day  in Anaheim and they are forcing women into prostitution and they force people to sell drugs, when there is no reason to do so. We can sell stuff to the tourists, there is no reason for crime. Anaheim receives 50,000 people per day, there is no reason for crime.

Salute,

Tony V.

A more generous welfare system and then a more rigorous law enforcement system would solve a lot of the problems.
Legalised prostitution only in govt approved and monitored indoor facilities..."separation of church and state" is the best system. Legal escorts also, "consenting adults in private" as part of that best system.
If I were a lonely man (or woman), in bambuworld I could watch a footy game from 4pm until 6pm, phone for takeout food delivery for 6.30pm, and phone for a takeout woman (or man) for 8pm.
We could talk about movies, play board games...or play other games, the possibilities are endless, all legal.

In Battle Mountain, Nevada, they have a legal bordello named The Calico Club. Yes, it is best to keep prostitution legal and supervised.

And in Hollywood we have Bare Elegance where Clint Eastwood, Danny DeVito, and David Spade goes, along with other stars.

https://www.bareelegance.com/

And China Lake needs a Bare Elegance club.

I have accounts/ cards credit and debit at 4 different banks.
I have 4 cell phones at two different Telcos, the two major ones here.
2 new, mrs bambu has one...and 2 old and only used as back up.

On any given day, something might work. People in some of the
fire areas had poor mobile phone service

Telstra, the biggest one, has the largest and most powerful network.
Optus, my other one, was recently hacked big-time (1million current and former customers) by thugs demanding a ransom not to release any more private details, bank accounts, passport nos, driver licence nos, other than those of the10,000 people they had done so already.
Customers are going berserk, totally outraged. Radio hosts, the media, the govt are also angry.
AFP IS investigating. Now joined by the FBI.

The House of Representatives approved a continuing resolution on Friday, giving the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) the ability to spend through the Disaster Relief Fund, freeing up $15 million more in aid for disaster relief. Only 10 Republicans voted for the measure, two days after a Category 4 hurricane barreled through Florida, killing dozens and causing billions in economic damage.

Which is why the Democrats are in office and not the Republicans.
