We have been having bad forest fires here in the West, including in Oregon where my cousin Cindy lives, Cindy lives in a beautiful clean forest and it should be beautiful, but they have forest fires and she cannot breath, her lungs are hurting from the smoke from the forest fires. We need to take action to restore the beauty of the forest. And the fires are all caused by man, these are not just natural fires. We need to hire the homeless people to work in the forests, Los Angeles has 60,000 homeless people and a lot of those homeless people can live and work in the forests to do work to prevent forest fires. Oregon has homeless people too who can work in the forests, etc, as does every state.

The beauty of the forests needs to be restored, and we need to hire the homeless people to work in the forests to help to prevent and fight forest fires.

Salute,

Tony V.

As always, Tony V., you tell us how we can organize others lives, but you can not seem to get your own act together. Why is that?

I have struggles for some of the same reasons as the 60,000 homeless people in Los Angeles, one reason for my struggles was the death of my father when I was a child, he was the main bread-winner, and he left my Mother as a poor widow with 3 children to raise. Many of the homeless people have lost parents, or are Foster Children. I have had a hard life, but I have never been a criminal, I never sold drugs, I am not violent, I am a good neighbor, and I worked hard and tried hard. Also of note, is that I attended the AADA after AVC and I tried to have a career here in Hollywood in the Entertainment Industry, but those jobs are hard to get. And we have people from Canada and everywhere else trying to steal our jobs. Canada wants to be the new Hollywood. Anyhow, Hollywood is hard, and the streets are full of homeless people, and I was one of the homeless people. And that is one reason why I work so hard to help the homeless and the orphans is because I lost my Father as a child, and I was homeless on the streets for 2 years.

But, I am not a bad man, I am not a criminal, I remained honest all of my life, and I tried hard. I was 9 years old when my Father died, and I had a hard life.

But, I was a Cub Scout as a child, and I was in Youth For Christ as a teen, and I worked for the Burbank YMCA at a summer camp, and later I was involved with Kiwanis International, and I have done other good things, and I have always tried to help other people.

And I am good at organizing people and managing events, etc. I could easily produce films, or produce events for charity, etc.

Donald Trump is rich because he had a rich Father, if Trump did not have a Dad then he might be poor just like me.

Salute,

Tony V.

Of note, I wrote a poetry book a long time ago, it is a fantastic book and I would have been a huge success as a poet a long time ago if I had a rich family and could publish my book. I also wrote a movie script a long time ago, and Hugh Hefner liked my script, it is a great script, if I had a rich family then I would have been wealthy from my movie script a long time ago. I also managed a dog kennel for 6 years, and was a cook at a casino, I could easily manage my own night club, or own my own dog kennel for the stars in Malibu, if I had a rich family and support.

I can still publish my book, and make my movie, and have some success in life. And I hope to find a wife who is smarter and better than me, I want to find a good wife who can help me with Business and with life, we can run a night club in Rome, and we can produce and write movies and television shows, and maybe make wine in Tuscany, etc. I hope to find a wife who will be a good partner in life. After I publish my book, and sell my movie script, then I might go to Italy and find a wife, and maybe I can get a wife with a big Italian family, and my wife can help our family that we can create to do well.

We will see what happens.

If I had a Father who published books like Carly Simon then I could have been rich and famous a long time ago as a poet, and that would have led to other things.

My Brother married Roy Rogers and Dale Evans' Granddaughter, Kristen, so you just never know who you can find as a wife. You never know who love will bring into one's life. And my wife can help me with Business, etc.

Salute,

Tony V.

Is it me, or is that sentence wondrously ambiguous?

What the fuck is your problem, Kiid?

Since we are asking questions

I dont think he does

He discusses the actions of an individual and then about a trend among some, explicitly limiting it.

And you decide to generalize it into a baseless accusation about him, while ignoring your own far greater record of bigoted comments.

No it did not, you nanny. It has done its last public hearing. They have subpoenaed at least one more witness and has a report to issue. You ninny.

So it turns out Biden was begging Saudi Arabia to delay cutting back on oil production until AFTER the USA midterms.

Hmmm. Who does he think he is, Trump?

AOC is heckled for behaving like a NEOCON!
She could find solace in ELBA
She would be welcomed here, I am sure.
Sounds like she ducked the hecklers complaints.
Not a good move for her longevity as a politician.

Why the failure to act or use this ready force? Had even a small percentage of National Guard or fencing been there, there would have been no problem, January 6th would have been just another date. I did my job long ahead of schedule. Some people call it good instinct, but the troops were ready to go.

Newsflash: forum members have lives and don't obsessively follow every AOC story that gets spun by the Right Wing outrage factory.  So, I have no idea what whatever sounds like because you provided no link to whatever tidbit caused you to tumesce.  Of course for you all she has to do is show a bit of leg.

It's good to see this excerpt getting some exposure on a popular website.  I followed this story a few years back when the NYT Sunday Magazine did a long feature story on this sordid business.  Corporate capitalism has rarely worked harder at gaslighting the nation than it did with climate denial.   Truly despicable.

Climate Denial?
What exactly does that mean?
No one denies there has been a change in climate as the world accommodates  a growing population now topping 7 billion people.
How could it not be changing? When has it never changed?
The question is how do we adapt?
Certainly not by eliminating the energy sources that keep all of us alive and growing economically.
Especially since the Energy Companies are the ones leading us to long term solutions.

What is most ironic is alarmists like AOC who Predict the end of the planet within a few years without the elimination of carbon sources while egging on a nuclear war over a border dispute.

Jesus.
