There has been a lot of debate about the DAs charge, because we live in a world where some people see a video of a white man choking a Black man to death and argue that no crime has been committed.

Attorneys for Neelys family say they asked the DA to consider a charge of murder in the second degree.

The problem is that, based on what we know publicly, there isnot enough evidence to support a murder charge. It is very difficult to prove premeditation in this case, It does not appear that Penny was lying in wait for Neely or some other unfortunate homeless person to come along.

Well, it takes no time at all to form the necessary intent for murder. But the reported circumstances, even on the reports of the witnesses who note Neely was not behaving in anything like the way RedDick accepts as gospel, would make a murder charge inappropriate.

The woman with the golden gun.

The golden gun, was allegedly found in the luggage of an American woman arriving in Australia...flew in from LA...gun allegedly detected in her hand luggage by x-ray machine at Sydney airport.

"US citizen Liliana Goodson has been charged with trying to smuggle a gold-plated pistol into Australia".
Picture: Facebook

Liliana is creating a lot of interest.
In the photo she has colourful facial tattoos, facial piercings, and a 'bone' thru her nose that extends past the sides of her mouth.

'Colt .45 - style pistol with pearl inlay.'
'The gun was not loaded'.

I know Red's keeping a scoreboard for such matters (according to Red, I'll lose everytime). I'm helping him with the research.  And I'm doing it for free.

Quote
They believe two of the three weapons he carried were owned by relatives.

Two days before the attack, Wilson purchased additional ammunition magazines, police said.

Authorities said it appears he shot indiscriminately at vehicles, and bullets struck 11 of them along with seven homes.

Additional weapons and ammunition were found at the home Wilson shared with his father, but Hebbe said he did not appear to have organized those before he left the house. The suspect had access to over 1,400 rounds of ammunition and 10 other weapons at the time of the attack....

This again points toward legislation that holds people responsible who allow their guns to be accessible to others.  Require storage in a gun safe, and push the arms industry towards thumbprint technology.  In addition to the obvious, which is restore the assault weapons ban which, during its ten years before sunsetting out, was affirmed by every single court that heard a challenge to its constitutionality.

The Chris Rock Law also remains on my wish list.  (though I'd favor an exception for rock-salt shells in shotguns, which are handy nonlethal shot for driving off aggressive animals in western boondocks like mine)(boyfriends, e.g.)

Gun safes have their place, ...but the good people, armed to protect themselves from the bad people, don't have time to go searching for their guns in safes when said bad people are smashing down their front doors, side doors, windows etc trying to rape them or their families [a rape or attempted rape occurs in America every 5 minutes], trying to bash and rob them, steal their cars and every valuable they have...or worse, kill them.

The good people need to be wearing their handguns and have their AR 15s within easy reach.
An AR 15 is a valuable tool for self defence...especially against violent home invaders.
20 million Americans think so, they have one.

Ideally strict purchasing and ownership rules around assault rifles would apply...maybe must be age 21 to buy one.

Serial killers knock on people's doors in the middle of the day...refer serial killer BTK [Bind, Torture, Kill]...they strike when the husbands are at work.
Every woman in America should own and carry a gun...and be trained to special forces standard in their use.

Remember that young mom with her toddler daughter sitting beside her on the sofa, in her own home. her husband having left for work...who was bashed, kicked, punched, ...then when the big, huge, monster of a man [who happened to be Black] intruder came back downstairs having searched for things to steal, bashed her again and threw her down the stairs into the basement?
She could've done with an active alarm on her door as a warning, and an AR 15 at the ready to shoot the intruder when he appeared in her living room.
Or a handgun ready to fire.

Colourful and heavily tattooed US citizen Liliana Goodson, also known as River SolDorado Salvatore Chunga, said she hopes to stay in the country despite facing a possible maximum of 10 years behind bars.

When approached by The Daily Telegraph at Bondi, Ms Goodson said she was unable to discuss the case but revealed she is "hoping to stay here" in Australia.
"I came here hoping to gain Australian citizenship", she told The Daily telegraph.

The 28 year-old said she wanted to pack up her life and move down under because "it's not America".

"There's a lot wrong with America. It's not safe for me, for trans people or people of colour. The police are very corrupt."

#####

Well there you go.
Some wanting into America, and some wanting out.

Liliana, among her facial tattoos, has the words "open your mind" tattooed in light purple along her face just above her jaw line.

Unusual to hear of Americans claiming persecution/'not safe' in America to the stage of seeking asylum in another country.

American Memory Lane

THE FIRST McDONALDS RESTAURANT OPENED ON MAY 15, 1940

83 years ago, a culinary revolution was quietly set into motion on the streets of San Bernardino, California. The date was May 15, 1940, when brothers Maurice ("Mac") and Richard McDonald opened the doors of the very first McDonalds restaurant. Little did they know, their humble fast-food establishment would go on to change the world of dining forever.

---------

My Grandmother worked at the original McDonalds in San Bernardino, back when McDonalds used to have beautiful young women to bring your food out to your car for you. Sonny Barger from the Hells Angels used to hang out at McDonalds with his buddies, he called my Grandmother "Miss New York" because he said she had class, he had nick-names for everyone, although she was born in a small town outside of Denver, Colorado, she did not mind Sonny calling her Miss New York, she came to California with her family during the Great Depression.

The success of Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, is good for world peace, as envy and jealousy are a huge cause of war, as was stated in the movie "Harrison Bergeron." If people are busy living their own dreams and if they are busy building and creating, then they do not sit there and build up hate for other people who are living their best lives.

And the same way that the world comes to America for the American Dream then the Muslims can go to Dubai, and to Abu Dhabi, to chase their dreams. And the Muslim refugees from Syria, etc, can go live in Dubai, and in Abu Dhabi.

On the issue of social systems which take care of their seniors and which value their elders...

I was taught very young in elementary school about the Mayan people of Mexico and about their social system where the children and young people took care of the elders, while the elders were the leaders in the Government, etc.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Childhood_in_Maya_society

And in Europe today the people live with their whole extended family and they help their elders, while at the same time the elders can baby-sit the children while the younger adults work, etc.

The culture in the United States where you are on your own at 18 years old is different. When I was a little kid I worked with my Grandmother, she was a dog groomer and I washed dogs for her to help her to buy food and to pay the rent, so I did help my Grandmother. But, when I was homeless on the street no one in my family felt obligated to help me, and I was on my own. I was homeless for 2 years, and no one cared. And even worse, when I was homeless in Hollywood it was against the law to feed the homeless, there were times when I went up to 3 days without eating.

I support communities where they value their elders, and where they have a sense of family and a sense of community. Italy is my favorite country, maybe I will move to Italy and marry an Italian woman and get a big Italian family and grow old where the elders are valued.

I am also a Christian, and I support helping the needy as the Bible tells us to in Matthew 25; 31-46, in a Christian community people would have helped me when I was homeless. In Italy they do not have homeless people because Italy is a Christian nation and they help each other. Also Italy has hostels where you can take a shower and where you can sleep in a bed for $15 per night.

( Of Note, we have rich Christians coming to the USA from the Philippines who are helping the homeless here in California, and they are helping the Foster Children, etc. We also have doctors here from the Philippines who are treating our poor here in California. )

Salute,

Tony V.

Fights and murders in Downtown Anaheim, at the beautiful Garden Walk right by Disney, this is unacceptable and we need better security and neighborhood watch.

https://ktla.com/news/local-news/2-men-found-dead-after-shooting-at-anaheim-gardenwalk/

Anaheim is beautiful, and we are rich, we do not need to accept crime and problems. Just like you will never see unruly behavior in Monte Carlo, they have money and class, and they have security and body guards and cops all over.

And just like Beverly Hills, they will not tolerate the high crime in Beverly Hills, they are rich and they can afford security guards, etc.
