2 new movie studios are being built in Nevada, and lots of new tax breaks are being proposed to help to start a film and television industry in Nevada.

They can make Westerns, such as making a series of films from the Slocum series of Westerns by Jake Logan.

I have some ideas for a few Westerns, one idea is for a Lawyer in the Wild West, like a mix between Clint Eastwood and Perry Mason, fast with a gun and smart with the law.

There is also an old series of books about Casey the stagecoach driver, and other old books.

Louis L'Amour and Zane Grey, etc, are also good writers but have already been over-done in Western movies. I think the Slocum Westerns could be more fun for today's audience.

Bible movies can also be made in Nevada. Lots of stuff can happen in Nevada.

As the sports teams from Oakland all move to Las Vegas, the Raiders, and the Athletics, then it is great for Vegas, Vegas is doing fantastic, but what about poor Oakland? Oakland is a bad ghetto now, even worse than San Francisco.

Education is important, schools are important, and libraries, and community colleges, etc. We can expand after school programs for the children, and we can teach the high school boys how to install sound systems in cars, etc. ( I have a friend who can install a sound system in a Ferrari and he is doing very well, and he teaches the high school kids. ) We need to teach the kids how to make an honest living, so that they do not have to resort to crime.

Wellness Centers are also important, and Mental Health Associations, and Sober Living Homes are important, etc.

They need hostels where they can get a bed and a shower for $15 per night.

Vegas is doing great, but it is not so great in Oakland, and San Francisco is also having problems.

The Unions can reach out to the homeless teens, and to the poor and at risk teens, and the unions can hire the boys as apprentices, etc, and they can help the boys to learn how to earn an honest living.

We need to teach the youth how to make an honest living so that they do not have to be homeless and so they do not become criminals.

Poverty is the father of revolution and crime. We need to help the poor youth to get started on a good path.

We need to hook the Foster Youth up with the Unions to be apprentices, etc, and to learn how to make an honest living when they grow up and are on their own.

And then there is also community college, but the youth need to have a home and money, they cannot be living in their cars while they go to community college. So, there is the issue of cheap group homes for the students, etc, and good paying side jobs that the students can work while they study. The Unions and CASA and the community colleges can all work together as a team to serve the foster youth.

When Hollywood opens back up then Job Corps needs to connect with Hollywood to create jobs for the youth. And Hollywood creates jobs in more places than just here in California, Hollywood also creates jobs in Georgia, and Hollywood is going to create more jobs in Florida, and in New York, and in Michigan, and new studios are being built in Nevada, etc. So, when the Entertainment Industry goes back to work then a lot of opportunities will be created. And Show Business jobs are the kind of jobs that the youth want, they all want to work in Show Business.

SAG/AFTRA, and the WGA, and the DGA, and the Producers Guild, etc, etc, etc, they can all have apprenticeships for the Youth, and Internships, etc.

And of course the community colleges all need to teach acting, and film, and writing, etc.

We need to have a bridge connecting our youth with the jobs in the Entertainment Industry.

Of note, Fullerton Community College is training people for jobs with Disney, the youth go right to work for Disney when they graduate. It is wonderful, the youth are going right to work with a good company when they graduate.

My Mother loves the Hallmark movies, and when I go to visit her we drink expensive gourmet coffee and we watch Hallmark movies. And she loves the Classics. She has good memories of watching the Classics with her Grandmother who used to take her to the movie theatres when she was a child. Her Grandmother used to take her to Olvera Street in Los Angeles, and to the zoo, and to the movies, etc. Her Grandmother owned a restaurant in San Bernardino, she was successful and she gave a lot of money to charity, and she used to spend a lot of time with my Mother, she was a good influence on my Mother. Anyhow, the Hallmark films are great, and they bring a lot of joy to my Mother.
