The lack of specifics is somewhat telling - not so much in the resignation letter, but in the intervening 7 weeks since she was hired. No complaints about her in the local papers.

I suspect some dirt will be forthcoming, but from and about whom is a matter of conjecture.

OTOH, if the resigning police had a grievance, I would have expected it to have already been filed.
