"At least 853 migrants died trying to cross the US-Mexico border in the last 12 months --- a record high.

Rose Lee said her nephew left his native Peru and journeyed to the US-Mexico border in search of his "American dream". But she said she did not think the quest would cost him his life.

Alan Paredes Salazar, 37, drowned trying to cross the Rio Grande in early September alongside nearly a dozen other migrants whose bodies were found in the river by US Border Patrol agents, his family said."

People like you, who have pushed economic migrants to more and more dangerous crossings instead of looking for an informed, reasonable and compassionate immigration policy. Asshole.

Imagine if they made travelers from New Zealand illegal for traveling to Australia for a job, or a migrant from France who moved to Italy for a job. Mexico is our NEIGHBOR, and Mexico is a good, Christian, Democratic, nation with beautiful people. We need to make our immigrants legal like Reagan did, and we need to write a new immigration law which has a Good Neighbor Policy.

The Mexicans need to travel safely and legally into the USA on Greyhound Buses, and Amtrak Trains, etc, just like traveling from France to Italy.

And we need for our immigrants to be legal so they can call the police in the case of emergency, and so they can join labor unions. And the United Farm Workers can tell the new immigrants where the farm jobs are, etc, so the people can travel straight to where the jobs are, on Greyhound Buses, and Amtrak Trains, etc.

Trump is racist, and what is bad is that all of Trump's wives have been foreigners, Trump likes the women from Eastern Europe but he does not like the Mexicans. If Trump lived in the West down here by the Southern Border with us, then he would love the Mexicans, and he would have Mexicans in his family. Jeb Bush met his wife in Mexico while helping to build an orphanage. People in the West love the Mexicans.

Joe Biden claims to support the immigrants, we need for the good Democrats to join together with the good Reagan minded Republicans in order to make our immigrants legal and to write a new immigration law which includes a Good Neighbor Policy, and freedom to travel safely on Greyhound Buses, and Amtrak Trains.

Salute,

Tony V.

America already has such an immigration policy.
It resettles a large number of refugees every year.

What is your "informed, reasonable, and compassionate immigration policy"?

I very much look forward to your reply.

Mexico is a sleeping giant, we are so blessed to have Mexico as our neighbor, Mexico has beautiful, hard working people, the majority of the people in Mexico are Christians, and Mexico is blessed with beautiful resorts, and also Mexico has Gold, and other resources, and we can also invest in the ports in Mexico as the ports in California are becoming congested. And we can send food and supplies up from Mexico to the poor people in Kentucky, etc.

My Grandmother worked for the Gold Mines in Battle Mountain, Nevada, and the mining company sent my Grandmother to Mexico to open Gold Mines in Mexico, and she loved the experience. Mexico is great if you are rich and powerful like my Grandmother was, she helped to bring paved roads, telephones, radio, television, electricity, running water, etc, to some very poor parts of Mexico, she helped to bring the poor people into modern luxury and they loved her for it. She loved Mexico.

Mexico is beautiful, with beautiful people, and Mexico has Gold and other resources, including good hard working labor.

Trump wants to build a wall, Trump is an idiot. Trump is blind and racist.

We need to work together as a team with Mexico. The Bush family can help with relations with Mexico. And we need to donate schools and libraries, etc, to the poor people in Mexico, etc, that is the best thing we can do. And we can teach the people how to speak English to open up the USA to them.

And Gold is easy now, the hard part is the politics. NASA and Sverdrup, etc, can tell you where the Gold is with satellites, they can tell us where the Gold is here on Earth just as easily as they can tell you the make-up of the soil on Mars, etc. I personally saw a satellite that was being built to tell us where the Gold is here on Earth, etc. NASA can tell us where the Gold is in Mexico, and we can bring prosperity and education to the poor people in Mexico. The money from the Gold can help to build colleges, and libraries, and to help to bring the people into modern luxury, with telephones and Apple computers, and with new hospitals, etc.

Salute,

Tony V.

There are legal immigrants coming to America all the time, from Mexico, Central America, South America and all over the world.

There are also illegal immigrants ... people entering the country illegally, bypassing the legal and proven-to-be-the-best system for America...'queue-jumpers' some say.

"Good Neighbour Policy" is basically "open borders"...anyone and everyone just entering on foot, on buses, trains, boats etc.

A guest worker program, like Australia has, with mostly South Pacific nations is the best idea.
People from Mexico could apply for the US program...they'd be legal, identified, background checked.

Open borders has never worked anywhere in the world in modern times, including Europe. Some Europeans think it has, but they are misguided. Britain saw the light and Brexited.
Italy is the latest to see the light.

Kiwis from New Zealand wanting to migrate to Australia have to apply like everyone else.
Arrive illegally, bye bye, back to the land of the long white cloud you go.
