Red hates news as much as he hates truth. This is why he clings so tight to his shambolic fantasy world where white make might makes right.

It is past time we drown his dreams in a bathtub.

White might does make right...take a look at "White European Appearance"- majority countries...then have a look at the rest.
Have a look at the racial equality laws, the religious equality laws, and the standards of living in those WEA-M countries, then have a look at the rest.
Just out of curiosity, do you have an interesting collection of arm bands in a drawer somewhere?

My ancestors were Cowboys and Indians. Nevada loves the Cowboys and the Cowboys rule in Carson City, and in Battle Mountain, and in Reno, and in Lake Tahoe, and in Virginia City, the Cowboys in Nevada all wear Cowboy hats and they have rifles in the rifle racks in their pick up trucks. The Cowboys are the most free people on Earth. My Father studied Business at Pepperdine and he became a Hay Broker, buying Hay Futures from Hay Growers, and then selling the Hay to the Farmers and Dairies, etc, after the Hay was grown and baled, and my Father used to deliver the Hay to the Buyers right to their Ranch, etc. He died while delivering Hay to a Ranch in Oregon, he was struck by lightening when I was 9 years old, just before Elvis died. My Ancestors were all Cowboys and Indians who were involved with Farming, and with Gold Mining, etc.

I am happy to see the success of the television show Walker; Independence, and hopefully more Westerns will be made.

And someone can produce the Slocum novels as movies.

My people just wanted Freedom in the West, and we raised our own food, and we wore Levis, and we drove the trucks, and we cooked the food, and they got married and had families. For a time when I was a kid my family lived on a 360 acre cattle ranch in Battle Mountain, Nevada, that my parents owned, and for us our whole world was on the 360 acres that we owned and taking care of the animals, etc.

At the time of Abraham Lincoln I had family in Carrollton, Kentucky, and in Madison, Indiana.

And I support making everyone here in America right now LEGAL so that they can come out of the shadows, and so they can call the police in the case of an emergency, and so they can join the Teamsters and other Labor Unions. And we need EQUAL PAY for EQUAL WORK.

I support the ACLU and I support equality for all under the law.

Salute,

Tony V.

Lauren Boebert (R) Colorado gets it.
She understands...that students in gun-free schools are sitting ducks.

Armed good guys should be in schools, all schools, every one.
In addition there should be physical security, fences, walls, locked doors, staged entry systems, metal detectors, electronic cards for entry....etc.

There's no such thing as "too much security".

USA is one such WEA-M country, for now.
See its racial equality laws, religious equality laws, and standard of living.

bambu's maternal ancestor left Hamburg in the mid 1800s, along with many other Lutherans ...to
escape Marx-ilk and their "hereditary properties now have to be purchased by the inheritors" nonsense.

Don't know what you were supposed to do if Hitler forced you into his military and you were forced to occupy the guard towers....when refusing would see you shot dead.

LOL
The German/Polish Lutherans who migrated to South Australia in the 1800s have a very proud history.
Farmers, grew food and took it to markets in Adelaide.
Grow the grapes, that make the famous wines in the Barossa Valley S.A.
Team bambu toured The Adelaide Hills ..incl the German Town Harndorf and surrounds, travelled to the
cemetery where first ancestor, his wife, and some descendents are buried.
Thanked them for making mommy-dearest who she was.

Any children as young as 4 in WEA-M USA being forced to slave for 12 hours a day in ' horror mines', extracting cobalt for the manufacture of mobile phones...the children receiving 10cents per day and constantly being threatened?.

There are in Congo, Africa...a non WEA-M country/ continent.

Hasn't crossed your wee mind that some of your WEAM nations enslaved those countries and exploited them for centuries until colonialism ended, then mired them in debt while killing any local value-added production.

Many WEAM nations, US especially, built their economies with slave labor. Both overseas slavery, and domestic.

Red seems unaware the POTUS did, in fact, call Gov. DeWine and say "anything you need" to help.  The RW bubble narrative that Biden is somehow ignoring the spill is false and counterproductive to fixing the transport issues.  We should question always government assurances, especially where vinyl chloride is concerned, which is why it's good that individual house testing is being done.  Bedding towels and clothes can contain residues even after exterior air is okay, and the advice to launder everything is good.  People questioning government measurements of toxins is a nonpartisan ongoing thing that always should happen because EPA staff can't be everywhere.   We will always need Brockoviches.

The federal government would offer, and the local government would accept, aid and resources.  Which is what is happening now. NTSB, EPA and Transportation have been at the scene assisting local authorities since the accident happened and are staying there indefinitely. Mayor Bass is helping the homeless, as she promised. I have been sending her advice from what I have learned here in Orange County in regard to helping the homeless.

And Rome is the leader in Europe, and the most powerful man in the world is Pope Francis. And Rome had indoor plumbing, etc, way before everyone else.

The USA was built on the foundation provided by Rome, and Athens.

And not all of the USA was built on slave labor, Henry Ford wanted for his workers to have good lives, and Henry Ford was famous for paying his workers good wages.

Then we had the labor movement here in the USA, and we attained Labor Unions, which is why we have a Middle Class today. Our Unions and Labor Laws are why we have a strong Middle Class. And many of our Labor Leaders have been Italian-American.

And Hollywood was not built on slave labor, the studios used to pay high wages, and Hollywood was rich during the Golden Age of Hollywood. Hollywood has big beautiful houses all over because the workers were able to afford nice homes.

Salute,

The New York Times lectures employees on what their jobs are.

Hundreds of New York Times contributors and advocacy groups sent two coordinated open letters Wednesday accusing the paper of record of publishing biased articles about trans people.
One of the letters, signed by more than 370 current and former Times contributors, several of them trans and nonbinary, said that
the Times has in recent years treated gender diversity with an eerily familiar mix of pseudoscience and euphemistic, charged language, while publishing reporting on trans children that omits relevant information about its sources.

In a second letter, more than 100 LGBTQ and civil rights groups, including GLAAD, the Human Rights Campaign and PFLAG, said that they support the letter from contributors and that the Times is platforming
fringe theories and dangerous inaccuracies.
A billboard truck also drove around the Times office in Manhattan with coalition messages, including:
Dear New York Times: Stop questioning trans people right to exist and access medical care.

The Times through Executive Editor Joe Khan responded by informing the letter signers

It is not unusual for outside groups to critique our coverage or to rally supporters to seek to influence our journalism. In this case, however, members of our staff and contributors to The Times joined the effort. Their protest letter included direct attacks on several of our colleagues, singling them out by name.
Participation in such a campaign is against the letter and spirit of our ethics policy. That policy prohibits our journalists from aligning themselves with advocacy groups and joining protest actions on matters of public policy. We also have a clear policy prohibiting Times journalists from attacking one another s journalism publicly or signaling their support for such attacks.
Kahn went on to defend his response to allegedly anti trans reporting on the merits, arguing that our coverage of transgender issues, including the specific pieces singled out for the attack, is important, deeply reported, and sensitively written.
In conclusion, he fired another warning shot:  We do not welcome, and will not tolerate, participation of Times journalists in protests organized by advocacy groups or attacks on colleagues on social media and other public forums.

Kudos to the Times for standing up for Journalism.
