Venice Beach has been named the worst beach in the USA. Tourists come here and they see homeless people all over, and they see the crime, it is horrible. And what makes it really hard is that people in Venice depend on tourists for business.

Helping the homeless is not only important because God asks us to help the needy, but it is also important to keep our streets nice and clean for our tourists.

If you go to Rome, Italy, you will see that they have very few homeless people, because they help the homeless, and also because they have Hostels where you can take a nice hot shower and where you can sleep in a nice comfortable bed for $15 per night. Venice Beach can learn a lot from Rome, and Venice needs to have Hostels for $15 per night for a bed and a shower.

As Venice Beach helps the homeless and as they clean Venice Beach up then things will get better, and Venice can learn from Rome, Italy.

There's a simple solution, but no one in power in CA seems likely to do it.
So what there is now just gets worse by the day.
Sad really.

My friend in Culver City wants to bring Apple to Culver City, they want to get Apple to buy the Sony Movie Studio in Culver City. We need wealthy local companies which are altruistic and which help the community.

We also need to allow people to run Hostels where people can take a shower and where they can sleep in a bed for $15 per night.

On the issue of why I said wise old MEN as leaders, is because I do not think China allows women to be President, China only allows MEN to be President. We need wise old peaceful leaders.

And for the USA our best bet for President might be Condoleeza Rice. A wise old peaceful woman.

Salute,

When I worked for Suzanne Pleshette at Empire West there was a man in the building who threw a huge party every year on Oscar Night, Norby Walters was his name, and his historic parties were called "Night of 100 Stars" and it was the best party in Hollywood. It is our most important night here in Hollywood. The Oscars are a huge event here in Hollywood.

Well the govts were warned, by some people...but they and 'academia' knew best.
The 'everyone in the world is a lovely person' idea....which of course is absolute lunacy.

There's a simple solution for this too.

With the high cost of living then we need to educate our people on Business, and about how to make money.

When I lived in Malibu there were two girls in our house, one was 15 years old, and one girl was 8, and they knew that Malibu is expensive and they knew that if they wanted to live in Malibu when they grew up that they were going to need to know how to make money. The girls studied hard in school, and they both planned on attending college, because they knew that they were going to need to know how to make money when they grew up.

For me as a kid, my Father died when I was 9 years old, and we were poor, so as a kid I used to work with my Grandmother who was a Dog Groomer (My Grandfather died when I was a baby, and my Grandmother was a widow, just like my Mother was a widow) washing dogs for her, at 10 years old I was working 12 hours per day washing dogs in order to help my Grandmother to earn money to pay the rent and to buy food. So I learned very young that it costs money to live and that it takes work to pay the rent and to buy food. I spent a lot of time washing dogs with my Grandmother, and I ended up managing a Dog Kennel when I grew up, but I learned the hard lesson that just because you are honest and just because you work hard does not mean that people are going to pay you fair. I was training to buy the kennel and to own my own dog kennel, but the boss gave the kennel to his step son instead of selling the kennel to me. So, I worked hard for many years to build up a good business for other people, and they received all of the rewards, while I ended up homeless in my home state. I wish the kennel that I worked at was owned by my family instead of being owned by people outside the family, it was a waste of time to build up that business for people who I am not even friends with. The boss was a World War II Veteran, and I learned a lot from him, but I never made any money.

So, I wasted my whole life just trying to make money so that I could afford the cost of living. And I went to school and studied and trained, and tried to make myself more valuable so that I could make money so that I could find a good woman and so that I could get married and buy a home and raise a family, etc.

I was born and raised in Southern California, and we had a lot of stars as customers at the Dog Kennel, and the stars had good lives, they used to drop their dogs off at the kennel and they used to tell me stories about the far away places they traveled to, etc. So, I went to school to try to work in the Entertainment Industry, but I could never get hired.

I was a cook at a casino in Nevada for 2 years, I did not make any money, but I learned how to cook and I learned how to run a casino. Maybe someday I will open my own night club, and I can cook for my customers, maybe in Rome, Italy.

I have a movie script that I wrote, and I have a poetry book that I wrote, both are good, and I should have turned them into money ages ago. Then I could invest the money into a night club in Rome, etc. I met the guy who wrote "Amistad" and he made enough money to open 5 McDonald's restaurants in South Africa and he hired his family members to work at his restaurants. I have always been a good writer, and my movie script is good, and my poetry book is good, I need to turn them into money.

Anyhow, we need to teach the children young that they need to study hard and that they need to learn how to make honest money because the cost of living is expensive. I am 55 years old now, and I have never owned a home, I have never been married, I do not have any children, and I was never able to make any money. I know how to manage a Dog Kennel and I know how to train dogs, but there are not any kennels around here, I looked, if there was a dog kennel here and if I could make enough money to pay rent and buy food then I would be working at the dog kennel. And I know how to cook and run a restaurant, etc, but that does not pay unless you own your own restaurant. And construction labor was a waste of time for me, I never made any money, you need to join a union if you want to make money in construction and I never joined a union and I never made any money, I was getting paid the same low wages as the illegal immigrants from Mexico, you need to join an honest labor union if you want to make money doing construction labor. I also worked at Universal Studios, but they paid me minimum wage and it was all a waste of time.

Anyhow, I am not complaining, I accept my life for what it is. I will continue to try to get my movie made and to try to publish my book, without complaining, and maybe I can do some acting and filmmaking someday, we will see. I will just quietly continue to try to do my best, and I want to go live in Italy and I want to surround myself with good Christians, we will see what happens.

But, the message that I am trying to convey is that I want for the children of the future to have a better life than I have had. I want for the children of the future to be able to have good lives and to be able to buy homes and raise families without living in bitter poverty. I was homeless out on the streets here in Hollywood for 2 years, and I want for other people to have better lives than I have had.

For me, sometimes I have to work hard to keep a good attitude, and sometimes it feels like it would be better just to die and be done with it, life is too expensive and I am tired of being a bum. I want to have a wife and kids and a home, and to be able to travel and to enjoy life.

Anyhow, the message is that we need to educate the children, and we need to teach them how to make honest money, so that they do not have a life of poverty and suffering. And we especially need to help the Foster Children, and the children without Fathers.

Salute,

Tony V.

Oscar night is coming up quick.

I would love to produce an Oscar party in Hollywood for the stars like Norby Walters used to do. One spot that would be a good place to host an Oscar party would be at the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, the stars can ride in their limousines from Hollywood Blvd to the Park Plaza Hotel to party. I would have to look around at locations to produce the party, but one spot off of the top of my head is the Park Plaza Hotel.

The Oscars are like my Super Bowl, I am not a big football fan, but I used to really love movies and I used to love Hollywood, I remember the 1980s in Hollywood when it was really cool. And I worked jobs where I could meet the stars, I managed a dog kennel, and I drove a limousine, and I watched the door for Suzanne Pleshette, and I worked at Universal, etc, and I was able to meet the stars in Hollywood. And like when Cuba Gooding Jr won his Oscar, my friend Brandy cleaned houses with Cuba when they were both starving in Hollywood, and she said it could not have happened to a nicer guy. The people who are winning awards are our friends and neighbors here in Hollywood. It is great when you see a good person who you know win an award.

The "Night of 100 Stars" is gone now, but Hollywood still needs to party. I bet I could produce a good party, we could do it all for charity, we could raise money for Kiwanis International, and we can get volunteers from Kiwanis to help to work at the party. Someone needs to step up and start doing Oscar parties now that Norby is gone, and also Elton John is going to stop doing his Oscar party as Elton retired, we need for new people to rise up and start throwing new Oscar parties. We need to keep Hollywood alive.

Housing is the big issue right now, if you have housing then be grateful. Enjoy your housing and be grateful.

Anaheim is passing out 10,000 housing vouchers currently, which are desperately needed. People can just contact the Anaheim Housing Authority if they need information.

For sure on the finger food, and I would have to see what the kitchen is like at the Park Plaza Hotel in order to plan the menu, I am sure they have a great kitchen. It would be great fun to actually produce an Oscar party. I love to throw parties.

You want burglars to come, however, because they know how to pick the lox.

Mr. Hoover was an engineer. He knew that water trickles down... But he didnt know that money trickled up. Give it to the people at the bottom and the people at the top will have it before night, anyhow. But it will at least have passed through the poor fellows hands.
