What do cable tv channels
Lifetime, E!, Big Ten Network, Adult Swim, Reelz, TV Land, BET, MTV, Comedy Central, A&E and ESPN2 have in common?

They all topped CNN in ratings for 25-54 year olds, the demographic most coveted for Ad Sales.

Is CNN past it s Prime?😆

Wow! Young people watch entertainment shows! Shocker!

Who knew media consumers like scripted tv more than 24 hour news and commentary?

I saw on the news on television that we are selling submarines to Australia and to the UK, and also we are going to teach the Australians how to manufacture the subs so that the Aussies can make their own subs.

Salute,

Tony V.

Yes, 3 US nuke subs arriving in early 2030s, others a decade later.
Lovely.
Only one problem, China is expected to invade Taiwan and maybe then undefended Australia, in the next few years, before 2027.

Crawl under your bed, stick your thumb in your mouth and wait for the invasion.

Playboy was Playboy, Hugh was Hugh, the mansion was the mansion...from yesteryear.
Think the internet killed the Playboy dream.
Also something about women, and how they should be treated in today's world.
Magazine sales in general seem to have declined.

The world seems to have moved on from the days of the Playboy mansion, bunny costumes, and bunny key rings.

Not so fast!

Nah, that's not how the 'Wild Colonial Boys' do things.
Our ANZAC ancestors who fought to keep us free would be ashamed of us if we did that.
We just need something more than rifles with which to fight.
We have those million rounds a minute machine guns...they'll do for starters.
Seeing we're at a severe disadvantage we should be allowed go use chemical and biological weapons.
Australia v China...hardly a fair fight.

"China opens borders to foreigners for first time in 3 years" or something.
..Sky News reported.
I won't be travelling there...the news keeps showing China's military might and saying we could be invaded anytime.
Imagine getting stuck there when the music stops and the bullets and bombs start flying.
AUKUS is all about arming Australia et al in Indo-Pacific, as Xi said clearly that China ...will...be taking back Taiwan.
Time for people to stop living in denial and start defending against China.
Nice Chinese weather balloons floating over the Americas.
Lucky they weren't nuke carrying drones.
Timely warning for USA, to protect its airspace all the time.

No need for Americans to die defending Australia, just *give* us the weapons
and we'll do the fighting and dying.
WW1 and WW2 revisited.

One or more of those new US "world's strongest laser" that "can destroy everything" I just saw on Youtube would be great.

Pity the Allies saved China only to be in today's situation.

China attacks Australia, Australia should be able to, and be allowed to, fire nukes at China, from subs, from anywhere.
Pity there's no COW base still in Afghanistan, could've easily nuked China from there.
Chinese people in China must be made understand what will be happening to them if their President and their politicians attack Taiwan, Australia, and anyone else.

By your description, Australia badly needs some kind of colonial overlord to keep it in check. Australia, as you lay it out, is due the geopolitical equivalent of 28 day mandatory confinement in a loony bin before it snaps and randomly hurts somebody.

It is good that for the moment you very definitely do not represent Australia, Bambi.

I made my peace with China when I had a roommate who was the daughter of a Chinese General, she loved Malibu, and we agreed that we need wise old peaceful leaders who can keep the peace. She wanted to do trade, and she loved money.

And in World War II China was on our team against Japan, and we had the Flying Tigers helping to protect China from the Japanese, etc.

I like the Chinese more than I like the Japanese.

And we have Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, The Philippines, and others in Asia helping to keep the peace in Asia.

Asia wants to do trade, and make money. They love money. They will work hard everyday for money.

We can use money to reward or punish people, we can reward the good people with trade and with business and with money, and we can punish the bad people with sanctions, etc.

China wants to make money, they want to live like the people in Malibu.

We can have peace with China.

China needs labor unions which are independent of their government which can work for fair pay and good treatment for the workers in China. China needs to reward their workers with more wealth, and China needs to expand their middle class.

And California can sell Orange Juice to the Chinese, etc, and we can do honest, peaceful trade.

Certainly we need to be strong, but we need peace.

I also hope that Pope Francis will continue to work to expand freedom of religion in China, and to grow the Catholic Church in China.

Poverty is the father of revolution and crime.

It is important for the good people to be able to make honest money.

I had a professor in Small Business Management Consulting Class at AVC who went into poor areas such as Compton, and he taught poor young Black men how to start a business and how to get a loan from the Small Business Administration and how to succeed in business. He went in and held the hand of the poor young Black men and helped to walk them through the process of getting a business loan and starting a successful business. Then, after the Black youth succeeded in business then the Professor took the group of young Black men on a trip to Africa. The young Black men learned how to succeed in Business, and then they enjoyed the rewards of the fruit of their labor by going on a vacation to Africa.

If you teach poor young people how to make honest money then they do not have to be criminals in order to make money.

If we have huge populations of people in Prison then it is because we neglected to teach our youth how to survive honestly.

And for many wealthy White people they have parents to teach them how to do business, and how to get a Small Business Loan from the SBA, etc. But for the poor Black youth, many of whom do not have fathers, then it is harder, so my Professor used to go to Compton and teach the poor young Black men, who otherwise would never learn, how to get a loan and start a successful business.

I also support helping the Foster Youth who do not have parents to get a business loan and to open their own small business.

Great line: DeSantis entire career might profitably be understood as a ChatGPT response to populist inputs.

China buying Australia at a significant knock down seems far more likely than an invasion.
