On the issue of the Jesus Revolution...

We have a Calvary Chapel Open Door Church here in Anaheim that is perfect for the artists from Disney, etc, and the Church is just a few miles from Disneyland on Harbor Blvd.

https://ccopendoor.org/

The Door is open and everyone is welcome at Calvary Chapel.

We will see if a Jesus Revolution can happen.

Salute,

Tony V.

Twister Alley...towns, homes, people smashed...again, and again, and again.
What about some of the billions given away as foreign aid, and on sending space ships to Mars...be used to build twister proof towns and homes in Twister alley instead?

I grew up in the heart of Tornado Alley.  The odds of a tornado hitting one specific house are miniscule, so economically it makes more sense to provide good insurance coverage.  Tornado-proofing every home would likely cost trillions, not billions, because you would basically have to replace every wood-framed structure ("stick-built" is the term here in US) with concrete-block  houses or berm houses.  Given that hurricanes wreak 10 times the damage of tornadoes, it makes more sense to invest in hurricane-proofing and zoning that prevents residential construction in especially vulnerable coastal areas (or buy out existing properties).

Prepare to be confused

Amendment  VI

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

When Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg was asked by a reporter as to what the underlying crime his indictment fails to name is, he replied in New York State, he does not have to.

The US Constitution is the supreme law of the land.
Does that not include New York?

You clearly are. Or rather, the right wing web site you pulled that argument from wants you to be and is lying to you again. 240 years of litigation as to what constitutes sufficient information ignored by them to be regurgitated by you.

Mayor Bass is hiring people to help the homeless, many jobs are being created for Social Workers, and Shelter Managers, and for Psychologists, and for Mental Health Workers, and for Van Drivers, etc, etc, etc, and it is wonderful that the homeless people are being helped. The Bible asks us to help the homeless, and as we aid our homeless then we are fulfilling the commandment from God to love and help our neighbors. It is wonderful that Mayor Bass and other Mayors are working diligently to help our homeless people.

I also hope that the Churches will help and welcome the homeless people, there is the Calvary Chapel Open Door and other Churches who are there for the homeless. I once went to a Church where I saw them kick out a homeless friend, and that was a bad church, those people were fake, a lot of people pretend to be Christians but if they reject the poor and the homeless then they are not real Christians. The real Christians embrace and help the homeless. I hope we can have a "Jesus Revolution" as we help the homeless, as we get them into shelters I hope the homeless will choose to attend Church on Sundays, there needs to be Church buses to take the homeless to Church on Sundays, etc. In Oregon there were Church buses that went around picking everyone up for Church on Sunday, and that needs to happen for the homeless people, there needs to be buses to take the homeless people to Church.

And as the homeless people are helped then many can train to work to help other homeless people. And they can raise money for charity by selling hot dogs and beer at basketball games, and at baseball games, and at other sporting events, and at concerts, etc.

Salute,

Tony V.

Climate change is real as evidenced by the number and ferocity of storms slashing across the world.
