Weapons at the ready, all the time!!! Cocked and ready to fire!!  Bad people lurking!!!

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/crime/suspect-in-custody-after-neighbors-said-he-shot-north-carolina-man-and-6-year-old-over-basketball/ar-AA1a6LOS?bncnt=BroadcastNews_TopStories&ocid=entnewsntp&FORM=BNC001&cvid=a30a831b886d4b9fb218474b7607c5d3&ei=33

If only the neighbours had respected the shooter's wishes;

and would complain about toys and balls being on his property.

Obviously his complaints were ignored, they seemingly disrespected him and his property,  seemingly just walked all over his mind and soil....and the end result of that was...he seemingly felt violated and abused...and shot them.
Moral of this sad event?
Yes, exactly.

Indeed.
Best to respect neighbours' complaints, especially in America where people carry guns.
Best not to go around antagonising people anywhere, especially in America.
There are people in American society [as elsewhere] who are not totally in control of their emotions and minds, who in America carry guns.

If Crikey-pants is right he will be thoroughly overrun by China any day now and then re-educated.

I think Yi will do wonders for both his content and his style.

All we have to do is give it time.

Vatican News

Bishop Stephen Chow Sau-yan of Hong Kong concluded a five-day visit to Beijing at the invitation of Archbishop Li Shan. He was thus able to meet the Catholic community of the Chinese capital. The purpose of the visit was to promote communion between the two dioceses.

------------

It is good that the Catholic Church is becoming stronger in China as we all seek better human rights in China and as we seek to promote peace in the world.

Oh boy. It will not be long before someone starts trying to push opium there as well.

There may be better ways to export western values.

The people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo need to have peace so that they can all be blessed with the abundant resources of their Birthplace. What the people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo need to realize is that everything already belongs to them, and that there is no need to fight over what they already own, and then they can all work together as a Civilized team in order to all benefit from the blessings of their bountiful nation.

And that is also what Russia needs to learn, we can all benefit from the blessings of peace.

While people are busy killing each other, then other people are benefiting from the Legacy that should be theirs that they are losing while they waste time in useless battle. They could be flourishing instead of fighting.

Salute,

Rest in Hell
BuzzFeed News.

The click bait embarrassment gave up the ghost yesterday after infamously dragging most of the mainstreet media into public disfavor.  The public gives the MSM only 26per cent approval since BuzzFeed was the first news site to publish the Steele Dossier that led to RussiaGate, a hoax.
Without any confirmation of the Dossier BuzzFeed explained the story was going to come out and it might as well come from it.
Bad choice.
We now know the hoax was paid for by the Democrat National Committee in the campaign of 2016 and magnified by Hillary after her humiliating loss to Trump.
BuzzFeed would have been smarter to have heeded the observation of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
Let the lie come into the world, let it even triumph, but not through me.

In the BuzzFeed epitaph I would add the words Time Wounds All Heels.
