Poking around the wreck of the Titanic, the grave of many?
No thanks.

Doesn't stop others though. Some go disturbing graves in the pyramids.
"Ooo, look here, this is the grave of an ancient person, let's have a look."
Let's not, "grave-robbing" should be banned.

I think Chuck Tatem did his usual good job covering the Titan submarine incident. Pity he was too busy covering the tragic deaths of five rich people to bother with the deaths of 300 impoverished Pakistanis. But then, they were just deportees.

What the attraction is to spend all that money to see a wrecked ship
on the bottom of the ocean is completely beyond me.  And the tragic lose
of life, what a horrible waste.
I have no doubt this will not put an end to these deep-water sight-seeing
trips.  No more than the joy-rides into space.  Space rescues is no doubt
a coming attractions and a thrilling way for billionaires to spend their money.
Yeah that adventure Queen Isabella financed was a bust?
Are you saying the purpose of Columbus's voyages was to give rich Spaniards an up close look at the ruins 9f Vinland?

The pros use spherical hulls and titanium alloy or high-yield steel alloy.  This guy was a rich idiot who didn't listen to his engineering staff and thought he could cut corners.  Anyone who knows, or is, a cycling enthusiast will tell you that carbon fiber is prone to delamination and sudden shattering.  Using it for deep-sea exploration is borderline insane.   At the least, they needed hull stress checks after the two dozen dives it had already made.  And the viewport was rated for 1300 m. maximum.  Titanic is around 4000 m deep.
Regarding the rich idiot and those like them that believed  in pushing the envelope.

Sam Howe Verhovek, the author of Jet Age The Comet, the 707, and the Race to Shrink the World, is a contributing writer for National Geographic magazine.

The Washington Post featured these comments by him.

The British-built de Havilland Comet, the first jet airliner ever to fly, was a sleek, beautiful, fatally flawed machine. Within two years of entering service in 1952, three Comets blew apart in the sky, killing everyone aboard. But when a court of inquiry convened to determine the cause, the man who a decade before had committed his nation to winning the race to jet powered passenger flight lectured his inquisitors before they could even get to the first technical question.
You know, and I know, the cause of this accident, thundered Lord Brabazon of Tara, a daring aviator who held the very first official pilot license in the United Kingdom.

It is due to the adventurous, pioneering spirit of our race. It has been like that in the past, it is like that in the present, and I hope it will be in the future.

They took on the cruel sea...and lost...as many have done before them.
Unless one has to take on the cruel sea and all the critters in it, it's best to stay away.
People lose limbs, become quadriplegics, and drown on a regular basis when they take on the cruel sea, even just swimming at a beach.

See how stoopid Australia is...

Now Russia, has lodged a High Court [High Court no less] appeal of the Australian govt's decision to deny Russia permission to build a new embassy in Canberra close to Parliament House and with line of sight to the communications tower on Black Mountain.

Russia already has an embassy in Canberra, it should be told to use that one.

Foreign govt's allowed to make appeals to the Australian High Court?
LOL...
