Over-population....that's when there are too many people for the amount of food, housing, hospital beds, roads etc available.
Coming to America soon if the southern border stays open much longer...to anyone who feels like walking in over it.

First, crossing a border is a net zero in terms.of.over population. And our Southern border is not open. Both RedDick and your fellow racist luee cite the data on this all the time without understanding the implications of their data.

In terms of biotic carrying capacity, a migration is usually favorable because it is from a less sustaining environment to a more sustaining.
Exceptions would be, say, migrating from a fairly lush area to a desert due to other pressures.  In rich countries, there's a topsy turvy situation where there is so much transport energy and infrastructure that people can move from an area of high biotic density to a lower one like a desert and still thrive in large numbers.  (though living without a basement still disturbs me, no matter how much economic sense it makes)  Vanishing western snowpack may change that, however.

It's not "overpopulation" when all the asylum seekers/economic immigrants...call them whatever...are in Texas and the other border states, but it becomes so when the "excess migrants" are bussed to NY, Chicago etc.
The folk in that 'Black neighbourhood" in Chicago are suing the city for closing the stadium to their children (exercise, sports etc)...so it can be used as a migrant camp.

You need to think like an American capitalist and you need to organize everything and send the people to where they can do the most good, etc. Send the Farm Workers to join the United Farm Workers and put them to work farming, and send the construction workers to where the construction jobs are and they can join labor unions, etc, and the Educated immigrants can become Teachers in Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, etc. Send the immigrants to where the jobs are that they are qualified for. Everyone wins. And I had a maid from El Salvador, and it was great to have a maid. We need to send the immigrants to where the jobs are. Also, the immigrants can put a coat of paint on the ghettos, and they can lay cobblestone streets, etc, and they can plant trees, and they can build libraries, etc. Plus we need nurses, and we need for people to own and operate cheap hostels and Sober Living Homes, etc. We can put the immigrants to work.

German supermarket chain ALDI operating in Australia has now also joined Woolworths in banning the sale of Australia Day ("Australian themed") merchandise in its stores.

Maybe they'd feel happier in Germany.
