Wish Congress was as enthused about protecting pro Palestinian free speech as it is about protecting pro Israel free speech.

Free speech means a right to criticize the government without penalty by the Government.
It does not protect speech threatening harm against others.  Until you understand that you do not deserve any respect.

Already laws against threatening harm against others.  That's why this new House bill is such grandstanding nonsense.  No one here is advocating threats or hate speech.  You fucking lying strawman peddling cunt.  The 1st A protects the right to make political criticism against Israel.  Not the same as telling Jewish students to drop dead.  You fucking lying strawman peddling cunt.

And this is why I have stopped bothering with your shitposts.  This time, I will have the sense to turn on the blocker so I don't see them.  Fuck you, asshole.

It is long past time that Congress act to protect Jewish Americans from the scourge of antisemitism on campuses around the country, Rep. Russell Fry, R-S.C., said Tuesday.

Case in point.   The law (as well as most campus codes governing student and faculty conduct) already protects all ethnic groups from the scourge of racist attacks, you grandstanding idiot.  When a party promotes a new law covering what is already legally covered, it is to score political  points not craft needed legislation.

I already pointed that out.

you might want to read the bill.

The bill is not concerned about what is said here.

It does? Can you post that part?

He is a bigger idiot than I thought, which is saying something.

It's heading towards "1938"...make no mistake.
And....those in charge of schools and universities are "academics"...who really should know better than to basically ignore, and do nothing *valuable*.
Well, maybe they've been too busy preparing lessons and studying the curriculum to notice.
Maybe I and others are mistaken...maybe anti-semitism is all legal in the US/Australia/West now.
Maybe we missed something.

At one bambuworld university protest small children were shouting "intifada".
Callers to the radio were outraged, wanting to know what Child Services was going to do about it. Nothing was done, it all just allowed.

Page 4, Daily Telegraph today;

Wild scenes in US as campus protests turn ugly.

*

Sydney;

Year 10 history student reports that while studying WW11 and the Holocaust, students were subjected to other pupils performing Nazi salutes in class and told Jewish students to "go back to the gas chambers". Used Swastika symbols on Google Classroom.

#####

Sure looks like '1938' to me, and no1 morning radio host.

So here in California one of the most beautiful spots is San Simeon, and also the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, and San Luis Obispo has their own airport.

And we have cool places that are going unused, such as MacArthur Park and the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles, and the many unused theatres around Los Angeles, etc.

There can be a party at MacArthur Park for the 4th of July, with live bands, and with food, and with a party at the Park Plaza Hotel there, people just need to make it happen.

And there can be parties at the Park Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles for Oscar Night, with an outdoor party and bar there at MacArthur Park, etc, like Norby did with Night of 100 Stars, etc.

Salute,

Mother and daughter at Bondi Junction reported four Arab male teenagers screaming Allahu Akbar and firing a pretend pistol into the air.

Sammy Hagar just got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, that is very cool. Sammy is a cool guy and I have been his fan since I was a child. I met Sammy when I lived in Malibu, I rented a room from the ex wife of Sammy's family doctor, one night I was awoken by our dogs barking and I got up and went out to make sure everything was okay, and when I walked out into the living room there was Sammy Hagar with Peggy who owned our house. I did not interrupt their visit, I just checked to make sure everything was cool, and I said Hi to Sammy and then I went back to bed. It is nice that Sammy finally got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, he deserves it.

By the way, Ozzy has his star in front of the McDonald's on Hollywood Blvd, and I think I saw Eddie Van Halen at that McDonald's, and I was told that Eddie loved McDonald's.

Hollywood Blvd is a cool place, and it is good that they are investing lots of money into making Hollywood Blvd nicer, it is a good investment.

Bambu, sadly 3 surfers were killed in Mexico, 2 from Australia and their 1 friend from California. The bad guys were captured because they had a cell phone from one of the victims.

Of note on strengthening civilization, is that as we bring electricity and television to people's homes around the world then we need to broadcast re-runs of Dr Charles Stanley preaching, and re-runs of the Hour of Power with Robert Schuller, etc, and we need to find new preachers to put on television. And as people get radios then we need to broadcast good happy music on their radios, etc. In Latin America, in the Middle East, in India, in Africa, in China, etc, in Russia, etc, we need to broadcast Dr Charles Stanley, and Robert Schuller, and new living preachers, etc.

And we need to bring back the good happy surfer music in California, and I would produce Beach Blanket Bingo movies, etc. We need for California to be about fun and surfing and the beach and NOT about gangs and crime. Lots of money is being invested in California and we need to make it nice, and we have a new high speed train being built between Las Vegas and Southern California, lots of good things are going to happen.

Salute,

Tony V.

For the refugee children from the Middle East, then the children need to be totally removed from war and violence, Kiwanis International can bring the children and their families to the Kiwanis Village in Victoria, British Columbia, and they can work peaceful jobs in the forest industry, etc, and the radios can play peaceful happy music, and they can watch Hallmark Movies and the children can watch Disney cartoons, etc.

https://www.kiwanisvictoria.ca/projects/kiwanis-village

The children are innocent, and the children need to be removed from the conflict, and the forest of Canada is a good safe place for the children.

Yes Tony, it's been all over my news for days.
Some sort of drug cartel area they stumbled into while surfing.
Two very nice and new looking truck/ SUV they were driving.
Where in Mexico isn't a drug cartel area.
They obviously hadn't  been paying attention to what goes on in Mexico.
Their families are devastated.
I do wish people would consider their families before they go taking unnecessary risks with their lives.

Photos in my newspaper today..
Baja California area they were in.

On the bright side, at least they captured the bad guys, and there will be justice.

Acapulco used to be nice, watch "Fun in Acapulco" starring Elvis Presley. And now Mexico is building high speed trains, and new airports, and new resorts, and they are investing in their ports, and they are expanding trade, etc. Lots of progress is happening in Mexico. I live 100 miles away from Mexico, here in Anaheim, and I went to Mexico as a teen with Youth For Christ, and I felt safe in Mexico, I was never scared, I saw extreme poverty though, the Catholic Church was doing good work in Mexico at the orphanages that I went to.

It is horrible that the surfers were murdered, but it is good that the bad guys were captured and there will be justice.

My Mother went to Mexico to buy land for a resort for a real estate company, and she had an armed body guard with her group, they had a licensed body guard who carried a gun. And back then the movie studios were all buying land in Mexico, they wanted to make movies and television shows in Mexico for Latin America. I think Bogota, Colombia, would be a good place for a movie and television studio too for Latin America.

If we can change how people think and feel, then we can change how they behave. Movies, television shows, music, poetry, etc, can all change how people think and feel and thus can change how people behave.

And we need to always have justice for all, the bad guys need to always be captured and punished.

There is a lot of beauty, and good Christian people, in Latin America, we cannot let a few bad apples give everyone a bad name. We need to nurture the beauty in Latin America, instead of throwing the baby out with the bath water. And lots of money is being invested in Mexico right now, and they are hard workers and money has power in Mexico. In 20 years Mexico will be great, and the people from Minnesota will want to retire to a cheap beach in Mexico where they can live in paradise on a low budget. School teachers from Minnesota will be able to retire to a nice beach in Mexico in 20 years and it will be nice.

Salute,

Tony V.

There are a lot of sad stories out there on the streets and in the homeless shelters, there are abused women, and orphans who were never adopted, etc, and another sad group is the people who became homeless because of grief. I met homeless men who became homeless because of grief after their wives died, they loved their wives so much that they gave up on life and they just wanted to die after their wives died. So, along with psychiatrists, and groups to help the abused women, and groups to help the orphans, then there also needs to be Grief Councilors for people who are suffering because of Grief. It is good that Mayor Bass is helping the homeless, and it is good that experts are being trained on how to best help the homeless.
