The American Dream will always be on the table, along with our Constitution and our Bill of Rights, and our Civil Rights, and our Statue of Liberty.
Colorado is a good safe place for the immigrants, my Great Grandfather was the Chief of Police of Denver, Colorado, before the Great Depression, but then the family fell into poverty and they came to California to pick fruit, etc, he died on Skid Row here in Los Angeles as an alcoholic, but my Great Grandmother succeeded with opening her own restaurant in San Bernardino.
I had ancestors who lived in Denver, Littleton, Canfield, La Junta, etc, in Colorado.
Of note, the Basques are running herds of sheep, cattle, and goats, in Colorado, and all over, and we need them to run herds in California too to eat the vegetation and to reduce fire danger, etc.
Merced, Modesto, Bakersfield, Fresno, etc, are all nice places for the immigrants here in California, and they can work in the vineyards in the Wine Country, etc.
And Battle Mountain, Nevada, is the best deal on land in the USA, with jobs at the casinos, and jobs working at the Gold Mines. Las Vegas is also the land of opportunity.
The American Dream will always be on the table.
Salute,
Tony V.
