The question you and fellow gutless cowards like YankGuy avoid is  why does Biden think his conscience is superior to those of a jury, or for that matter of the larger society and Congress that have reserved the death penalty for especially heinous crimes?

Juries are selected, in capital cases, on their willingness to use DP in sentencing.  In this regard, they do not correlate with "the larger society," nearly half of which opposes the DP.  And the trend continues towards less support for DP.

Here's my answer.  As President, Biden has the authority to commute death sentences.  While his conscience might not be superior, neither is it inferior; and if you don't want Presidents to have the authority to exercise their conscience in such matters, take the authority away.

As for being called a "gutless piece of shit" I'm wondering where your offense at name-calling went.

Which "scum murderers" did Biden "pardon"?
If you have any research skills the answers are obvious.
I suspect we can add "pardon" to the ever growing list of words RedDick uses while not knowing what they mean.
The question you and fellow gutless cowards like YankGuy avoid is  why does Biden think his conscience is superior to those of a jury, or for that matter of the larger society and Congress that have reserved the death penalty for especially heinous crimes?
I'm a "gutless coward" for being against the death penalty?
You are a gutless piece of shit for not even understanding the question I asked.
We can add "question" to that list, since you never asked one.

You are a gutless piece of shit for not even understanding the question I asked.

The hypocrisy of you accusing anyone of not understanding, when you weaponize your own lack of understanding, is monumental.

As for your question

who would want to respond to a fake leading question?  You're pretending to ask a question in order to assert an absurd lie about Biden.  BAE.

In the list of sins, I wonder if being a "gutless piece of shit" is worse than being unable to format.

President Petro of Colombia is spending Christmas Eve with the homeless people in Bogota. The world has some good leaders right now.

I wish everyone a good Christmas, and I pray for comfort for those having a tough Christmas.

( It is good that the President of Colombia is spending Christmas Eve with the homeless. That is the good Christian thing to do. It is good that he is helping the homeless. I remember in Hollywood when it was against the law to feed the homeless, and Hollywood did not have cheap hostels at that time for a cheap bed and a shower. Now Mayor Bass is helping the homeless in Los Angeles and it is getting better now. It is good when the leaders care about the homeless and help them. )

Salute,

Tony V.

I agree with Bambu, the death penalty needs to be abolished. People commit suicide to avoid prison, instead of the death penalty then I support life in prison without the possibility of parole, and then remind them of their sins everyday and remind them why they are being punished. God will forgive you, but they still have to pay their debt to society.

Salute,

I state facts.
You still cannot answer the question.

President Petro of Colombia

Colombia will grow more if there is dignity for the working people, if there is income above inflation and peoples living standards grow, if we can get many more people out of hunger. I raised the minimum wage in 2022 to 16% and the consequence was that 1,600,000 people across Colombia came out of hunger, that 1,100,000 came out of extreme poverty. We lifted people out of poverty and hunger, and the minimum wage was rising.

------

In 2025 the people of Colombia will receive another raise in their minimum wage.

Colombia has had a long line of great leaders, some of whom have attended Harvard.

President Petro is leading with a love for the people.

Salute,

Not much cheer at Christmas for the hundreds of Aussies behind bars in foreign countries.
No sun, sand and surf for them at this festive time.
Seems they didn't think deeply about what they were doing.

The most are locked up in China: 64.
You can't just go to China being a democracy advocate and "cause trouble", without serious consequences.
xxx

One case:
"The prominent bikie pleaded guilty in August to being part of a conspiracy to import cocaine and launder money from South America to Australia, via the United States."

#####

Obviously hadn't been to UBWA...Uncle Bambu's Wisdom Academy.

The others mostly drug smuggling or possession in places where
 wise people don't do it.
One couple decided it was a good idea to go to Indonesia ( Bali is Indonesia), open a bar, and offer prostitution services.
In Indonesia, mind you.
They hadn't been students at UBWA either.

Moral of most of these cases:
"If contraband is found in your bag, or boat etc, then you are liable...no excuses accepted."

"Break the laws, the penalties can be a lot harsher that in your own country".

Contact Sabrina Butler, Black American woman, she'll tell you what a croc the  justice system that saw her sentenced to death is.
She was totally innocent.
She was on death row, awaiting her turn in the State's chamber of death, to snuff life out of her.
As luck would have it she got a new trial, and was found innocent.

Death chambers are pure evil and must be demolished.

What about the death chamber called Gaza?  Totally innocent civilians being put to death by bombs, sniper drones, and food blockades.  Will you tell us what a croc Likud is?

Not having a masters degree in Russian, or Middle Eastern politics I asked Dr Google about Likud.
He said it is a right wing political party, nationalist, of Israel.
The politics in Israel seems to have been very complicated over a long period of time.

Gaza, Palestine run by terror organisation Hamas, it supported by 70% of the population, if you like, .....is at war with Israel.
This war started by the aforementioned Hamas-Palestinians, is of their choosing.
They must be happy with the way it's going, because they show no signs of surrendering and/or releasing the hostages.
