At this point it didn’t need to be a conditional statement.

LIAR-IN-CHIEF AT HIS FINEST!
Interesting experiment today by our Liar-In-Chief and his Republithug toadies…..
During the last 24 hours the Orange Goon has been rocked back by the reaction to his ‘shithole’ remark. There were, what—eight other real, live human beings at this meeting with Trump. The lone Democrat there has accurately reported what was said. One Republican (Little Lindsay) refuses to admit what was said, but claims that it was bad enough that he had to express his displeasure directly to Donald Trump. Two other Republicans who were also there suffered some sort of simultaneous temporary hearing failure and thus could not confirm or reject what was said. The remaining four people are apparently deep in hiding and are thus incommunicado on the subject (but they are all Republicans, so as soon as they are adequately briefed up with the latest talking points you can bet that they will be out there lying their asses off for Trump). So, how has the Orange Führer decided to deal with the situation? Well, it looks like he is going to try to pass off what was spoken directly in front of eight different witnesses by saying that it didn’t happen at all!“What are you going to believe, me or your lying ears?” I’m beginning to question wether Trump isn’t attempting to prove that he can completely suspend reality. Make enough people actually believe that up is down and black is white. I’m sure he and his lackeys are currently operating within the ‘beyond a reasonable doubt’ parameters. Create enough doubt in enough people that the accusations can at least be reasonably doubted. But Trump appears to be trying to take it even a step further. Can he make enough people actually believe a lie that was spoken directly in front of 8 live witnesses can be 'walked back' to a point where the whole thing will be diffused? I doubt that he can, but he’s still there, still the president.

I think Coburn likes to fashion himself as the ‘intellectual’ version of Inhoff. Same sort of Republican lackeys, though.

“My people are so smart,” Trump told the crowd in Sioux Center, Iowa on Saturday. “And you know what else they say about my people? … They say I have the most loyal people.”

He continued: “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn’t lose any voters, okay? It’s like, incredible.”

The next day in Muscatine, Iowa, Trump defended his use of tough rhetoric, but vowed to take a “softer” approach.

The guy knows his audience...

A lawyer for President Trump orchestrated a $130,000 payment to a pornographic-film actress in October 2016 to prevent her from going public with claims of a consensual sexual encounter with Mr. Trump, The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday.

The reported payment came shortly before the presidential election and as the actress, Stephanie Clifford, 38, was discussing sharing her account with ABC’s “Good Morning America” and the online magazine Slate, according to interviews, notes and text messages reviewed by The New York Times.

Jacob Weisberg, editor-in-chief of the Slate Group, said on Friday that in a series of interviews with Ms. Clifford in August and October 2016, she told him she had an affair with Mr. Trump after meeting him at a 2006 celebrity golf tournament. She told him that Michael D. Cohen, a lawyer for Mr. Trump, had agreed during the presidential campaign to pay her the $130,000 if she kept the relationship secret, Mr. Weisberg said, adding that Ms. Clifford had told him she was tempted to go public because the lawyer was late in making the payment and she feared he might back out of their agreement.

I have a sense, Bambi, that you are about to draw the wrong lessons according to the typical disfunction of your brain.

The perpetrator of the Mother Emanuel shooting wasn't Muslim, tony.

True. And there was the case of the Oklahoma bombing, the Columbine shooting, and the Sandy Hook school shooting, etc, and more recently the Vegas shooting, etc. But they were not from Mexico and from Canada, and they were not real Christians. Christians show love for their neighbors.

Salute,

Tony V.

And using that reasoning, I would tell you that the people who did the 9/11 attacks were not real Muslims, either.

And what do you think the drug cartels are? Happy, healthy family businesses?

Seem to be, in many cases...just like the Mob.

Context, Kid.  Trump has made his bigotry evident many times...

Bosses having all black employees at his casino ordered off the floor when he and Ivana visited.

1973, refusing to rent to blacks, lying to black prospects that no units were available.

These comments: "Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control."

His comment in a meeting last month that Nigerian immigrants "would never go back to their huts" if allowed into the US.  Or saying all Haitians have AIDS.

Etc.
