Yeah....
I didn't agree with that
To think....I once had Chaffetz as a great future POTUS candidate. But he quit on us, at least temporarily.
Can he do more good for the party in his current role? Interesting thought.
No. It really isn't. Though interesting that you question if his role is good for the "party" and not, you know, the country.
And when a long-time lawyer/fixer testifies to Congress accusing Clinton of multiple potential instances of lawbreaking and provable lies during the election about ties to Russia, providing a paper trail and names for follow-up, and when Clinton refuses to divest herself of a for-profit global enterprise that provides numerous points of entry for corruption and violations of the emoluments clause, and when Clinton is identified as an indicted coconspirator in an investigation of campaign finance fraud, and Clinton brings in close advisors and cabinet members that either A) end up indicted and pleading guilty or B) misuse tax-payer dollars for personal benefit or C) OK killing of journalists in the pursuit of shady nuclear deals, and when Clinton’s history provides instances of money laundering and fraud, and when Clinton refuses to hand over tax returns…
Then let’s talk about Chaffetz’s plans as being remotely comparable to the long overdue task of congressional oversight of this “President”.
