Did she say she is proud of the history with regards to Palestine and Hitler?

No.  She never said at any point that she was "proud" of anything.

I linked to a piece that included the quote in question.  I am sure you are capable of using google to find it yourself.  You don't (shouldn't) need me to help you understand what was a perfectly straightforward statement that has been twisted by Republicans to mean something that obviously no human would ever feel, let alone say out loud.

Save perhaps the White Nationalists that Trump has built up...

I've addressed the part of her interview that has been twisted and misrepresented by Republicans in a deliberate attempt to smear her.

If there is a different section of her interview that you would like to discuss, feel free to post it.

I always tell folks, when I think of the Holocaust and the tragedy of the Holocaust in the fact that it was my ancestors — Palestinians — who lost their land and some lost their lives, their livelihood, their human dignity, their existence in many ways had been wiped out, and some people’s passports — I mean, just all of it was in the name of trying to create a safe haven for Jews, post-the Holocaust, post-the tragedy and the horrific persecution of Jews across the world at that time. And I love the fact that it was my ancestors that provided that, right?, in many ways. But they did it in a way that took their human dignity away, right, and it was forced on them.

Sounds proud to me.

Today, Drew Magary referred to Tomi Lahren as "Tomi Okaysymbol."  I'm going to have use that one.

Sounds proud to me.

Then your issue is with reading comprehension.

She might be “proud” if her ancestors provided that land willingly after the Holocaust. That isn’t what she is saying. And part of the misrepresentation of her words that is infecting the right wing biosphere right now.

Would be happy to hear just one example of how Trump’s words were taken out of context to change the meaning in a similar way. It would be instructive to hear it.

Question for you kiidcarter8:

Do you think the honorable Representative from Michigan was saying that thoughts of the Holocaust calm her?

"....the Congresswoman mentioned the role that Palestinians played in helping to provide a safe haven for Jewsih people following the tragedy of the Holocaust"

- Denzel McCampbell, Thalib communications director

How about the role Palestinians played in the ACTUAL Holocaust?

No

But I dont think she should be talking about the Holcaust at all when asked about one state vs 2 state issue.`  She wants a one state solution, thus is against what Jews want.  Using this as a parameter (and anything else she may have said that might remotely seem anti-Semitic), she shouldnt say HOLOCAIST at all.
