Quote
Asked during a Q&A session with reporters whether he’s concerned about getting impeached, Trump said, “I can’t imagine the courts allowing it.”

“I’ve never gone into it — I never thought that would even be possible to be using that word,” he continued. “To me it’s a dirty word, the word ‘impeach.’ It’s a dirty, filthy, disgusting word.”

Yeah, people say amazingly dumb things when they are controlled by their emotions and not by reason.

But then again, this morning, President Trump said, "Russia did not help me get elected."

But you keep posting your inane tweets, Kiiid, and ignore the fact that your president is a liar, a cheat, a swindler, a conman, and full of shit.

"We put a tarp over the USS John McCain".

One wonders how that is done.
Guess they don't buy the tarp at their local hardware store.

They're the US Navy. They don't buy anything at their local hardware store. How could they pay 100 times its normal price, if they did?! Besides which, they were in Japan.

But, because you are soooooooo slow, I will explain it to you: they put the tarp over where the words "USS John McCain" were, on the side of the ship.

Reporting from The Washington Post clarified that, yes, someone from the White House mandated a tarp be put on the boat, but the plan was nixed by the Navy. A senior official told the newspaper that when they understood the request, "the tarp was removed on Saturday, before Trump’s visit."

An example of the stupid things people say out of emotions is "the climate is always changing" as a reason why we are not having a climate crisis.

We are.

Yes. It was put on. Then it was removed.

Thank you.

Name never covered during visit.

Sailors with name of ship on hats getting time off for this reason was a MYTH.

And Trump had no knowledge - nor was the name of the ship covered at any time during his visit.

Game, set, match.

How do you know that Trump had no knowledge?

I heard your claim.

But you're also the person who claimed Trump never denied Russian involvement in the election, among other fatuous statements.

Yup.

He still has no knowledge, but at least you are slowly catching up.

By the way, he’s a crook too. Take your time with that.

As a partial owner of 43g, I’d like the sleazy building management to get the mob stench out of the unit. I realize they can’t do anything about the elevators because of the constant nefarious activity on the upper floors. The smell of dying old man and flop sweat is atrocious. It has become a real drag on the value of the property.

By the way, the Mueller Investigation was by far the most fiscally successful initiative this administration has or will ever get going, unless we claw back some of the money that has been laundered through trump that he has criminally misreported.

Mueller has lots of free time now. Congress should hire him to help prepare their impeachment case.

At least the money isn’t being spent on more opioids.

Sometimes, in the terrible economy that trump is creating for instance, doing dumb work can be better than doing no work at all.

As they showed us in Germany, a wall can be torn down quite quickly when the people choose to do so.

Name never covered during visit.

Sailors with name of ship on hats getting time off for this reason was a MYTH.

And Trump had no knowledge - nor was the name of the ship covered at any time during his visit.

Game, set, match.

The guy who disputed that the WH had a problem with the McCain was shown facts that the WH did in fact have a problem with the McCain is claiming game, set, match.  And then posts a tweet saying liberals are incapable of logic!  Can’t make this shit up.

If you have any debunking of the “myth” that the sailors from the ship were given the day off or turned away from the rally, post it.  The NYT reports this:

Two Navy sailors, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly, said that the McCain sailors were not invited to hear Mr. Trump speak that day aboard the amphibious assault ship Wasp, while sailors from other American warships at the base were. One Navy sailor said that McCain sailors wearing their ship’s patches were even turned away from the president’s address.

Whether or not Trump knew of these preparations beforehand, he isn’t absolved of them.  You can’t cry “scoreboard” when the “President’s” own staff apparently view him as a small vindictive child who is easily provoked.   And of course there is the not small matter that instead of criticizing these actions, Trump said they were “well intentioned.”
