Americans’ View of the Current Economy Is the Highest in 19 Years
By Reade Pickert

Bloomberg

U.S. consumer confidence declined in August by less than forecast as Americans’ assessment of current conditions climbed to the highest level in almost 19 years.

Yeah!

You should have heard how upbeat the consumer confidence was in the summer of 1929!
what was it?

LOL!
It was Zero!  No one was buying anything!
Wages were low.
Did you get past fifth grade?

I'm wrong.

So are you.

During the summer of 1929, the country entered a mild recession, while the stock market continued to climb, hitting a peak in August.

Deutsche Bank has Trump’s taxes — and loan applications cosigned by Russian oligarchs: report

MSNBC anchor Lawrence O’Donnell dropped a bombshell on Tuesday evening. “The source close to Deutsche Bank says that the Trump tax returns reveal that the president pays little to no income tax in some years,” O’Donnell reported. “And the source says that Deutsche Bank is in possession of ...

Is anyone really doubting Putin could get Russia back into the G7 if he so desired?  And that there would be no negative consequence

I wasnt wrong. Consumer confidence in the summer of 1929 was zero. ( the opposite of what you maintained) The stock market ignored that.

Uh yes. Unless he pulls out of Crimea and ends his interference in foreign elections.  Obviously what Putin’s Pupppet was told by the six G7 leaders.

And that there would be no negative consequence

Allowing Putin to conduct assassinations in NATO countries with little consequence?  Yeah. What could possibly go wrong.

Straight up impeachable offense of true. There can be no debate about it.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/immigration/take-the-land-president-trump-wants-a-border-wall-he-wants-it-black-and-he-wants-it-by-election-day/2019/08/27/37b80018-c821-11e9-a4f3-c081a126de70_story.html?arc404=true&noredirect=on

President Trump is so eager to complete hundreds of miles of border fence ahead of the 2020 presidential election that he has directed aides to fast-track billions of dollars’ worth of construction contracts, aggressively seize private land and disregard environmental rules, according to current and former officials involved with the project.

He also has told worried subordinates that he will pardon them of any potential wrongdoing should they have to break laws to get the barriers built quickly, those officials said.

Evidence to support your position that consumer confidence was zero?

Impeachable.

Clearly illegal.

Will the GOP do its job, if the evidence is ironclad? I doubt it.

Yes.

Macron.
Conte.
Johnson.
Abe.
Trudeau.

and
Merkel.

Other than that, I don't think anybody else's opinions matter, Kid.

Or, as already noted by NA, Putin could pull out of Crimea.

Not holding my breath.
