1) While Obama was president and Trump was candidate, Trump sought the help of Putin et al to beat Clinton.

2) Trump also tried to get a deal to build a tower in Moscow.

3) Trump's campaign team had dozens of contacts with individuals in and around the Putin administration.

4) Trump denied doing business with them.

5) Meanwhile, in 2015, a Conservative publication hires Fusion GPS.

6) In Spring 2016, the DNC and Clinton campaign take over the same contract (which strikes me as odd).

7) Summer 2016, Fusion hires Steele, a former British Intelligence agent. Not Obama hiring, not British government.

July and October 2016, Steele briefs FBI. FBI says nothing.

In January 2016, allegedly, the Obama Justice Dept. talked with Ukraine about reopening an investigation into Paul Manafort. (a) There is no evidence of it, but more importantly (b) Manafort didn't go to work for Trump until March 2016 or become campaign manager until May 2016. So, nope.

In May 2018, 3 senators did ask Ukraine about investigations - but it was about the russian election interference that they asked about, vis-a-vis the Mueller investigation, not about Trump. Also, they are not president and they are not running for president. They also asked if the Trump administration had encouraged Ukrainian officials to impede Mueller’s investigations in Ukraine. All of this was in response to an article in the NYT.

In 2017, Politico wrote this report, which is the basis for the third bogus claim.

The jobless rate dropped to 3.5% in September from 3.7% in August, marking the lowest rate since December 1969 when it also logged in at 3.5%. Employers added 136,000 jobs in September, and payrolls for August and July were revised up, the Labor Department reported Friday.
