Kid. you were busy defending the president's Syria decision.

This piece touches on many of the reasons that it was dumb, dumb, dumb.

Kiid has failed to make a quality life in the American system. He’s hoping that he’ll do better in one where jingoistic toady boot-licks like himself get an extra leg up.

Polling on Trump out today from the Washington Post:

Does Trump uphold adequate standards for ethics?  60% no 35% yes.
Should Congress have started an impeachment inquiry?  58% yes 38 % no.
Of those that support the inquiry, 49% say Trump should be impeached.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/poll-majority-of-americans-say-they-endorse-opening-of-house-impeachment-inquiry-of-trump/2019/10/07/be9e0af6-e936-11e9-85c0-85a098e47b37_story.html

Even kiidcarter8 said that he is fine with an inquiry, and wants to be sure that all the facts come out before the impeachment is voted on.

So how then are we to take the obstruction of the Trump Administration, preventing testimony of the relevant players, along with not sharing relevant documents and text messages?

How will that go over with an American public that by and large supports an inquiry, and fully understands why it is necessary?

FYI, here is 538's impeachment poll tracker, currently showing support for impeachment at 49.5% to 42.4%.

https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/do-americans-support-impeaching-president-trump/

Over 6% increase in support of impeachment from Republicans since the Ukraine stuff started.  Almost 11% increase in support from independents.

You would think that given the atmosphere of distrust around the "president" and given the total innocence of interactions with Ukraine where there has been no quid pro quo at all, that Trump would be doing all he can to allow the facts to come out.

Only he is doing just the opposite.  Huh.

Spat over Trump vs. Warren bumperstickers.

Trump supporter pulls his gun.

Seems consistent.

Good guy with gun.

Right?

Greta was here yesterday.  I saw her speak at a rally in Memorial Park, then lead a march to Mayor's office.   Larger than usual turnout for Rapid City.  She really seems to be motivating young people to get involved.   She is so tiny.  Not a trait I've often encountered in Swedes.  Her spirit, however, is generously proportioned.

I'm interested in seeing your work, Deej, but the attached format often doesn't load well on Android devices, either just a blank or a verry low rez image.  Have you tried some sort of cloud storage like photobucket?  That way you can just put an image url in the img brackets.

Oh, and yes, the president appears increasingly demented.   We seem to have moved from if to when.

Ah, the Law and Order president.

The originalist GOP.

No self-awareness. No perspective.

And, as ever, no caring about the nation, just himself.

If I were the Amb. to Ukraine, I would be testifying, even if I had to resign to do it.

All Nancy has to is call Trump’s move by authorizing a vote in the House for an inquiry.

Your head is so far up your as on this topic it is hard to believe it hasn't appeared in your stomach.

He won't coeaoperate then, either.

The House does not need to have that vote to be able to have hearings and get testimony and depositions.

And when the subpoenas are issued, the WH will still refuse to honor them - he believes he is the best president ever and that they are impeaching him because of it.

He cannot admit that what he did *might* have been wrong, let along that it was. So, asking about it makes you treasonous - or as he put it, #impeachromney!
