Hey Kiid, if one wanted to dress up as a republican for Halloween, could one simply wear his or her underwear on his or her head or does one need to go out and get a actual asshat to wear? What is the official uniform these days besides a brown shirt and a Juul vape? I’m asking for a friend.

White House tries to spin Syria flub as a ruse to get Al-Bagdadi to stick his head out. Kelly Anne finally came up with something she can feed The rubes.

Trump to address nation on killing of ISIS leader

Thinking maybe he should take a pass on this one - let it speak for itself - and just counter punch if any inaccurate info is floated

Do whatever you want

I'm sure I will, Kid, but I asked a simple question:

What did you want me to do?

Dude - no need to be immature.   Forget I even pointed out the post in question.

Apparently, Trump wrote many very successful books.  In one of them, over a year before 9/11, he predicted OBL would be a dangerous guy and should be killed.  No one else had heard of OBL, of course, and Trump was a lone voice, a prophet ignored.  He was a humble builder, not an expert on foreign affairs as he is now, but he had something far more important than knowledge:  he had an instinct.  If only people had listened to him, everything would be different.

Trump may have also voiced his concern over the missing frozen strawberries.

If Mr. al-Baghdadi’s death is confirmed, it would set off a succession struggle among top Islamic State leaders. Many other top leaders have been killed in American drone strikes and raids in the past few years. Anticipating his own death, Mr. al-Baghdadi has delegated authorities to regional and functional lieutenants to ensure that the Islamic State operations would continue....
- from NYT report

Quote
Critics of the president’s decision to withdraw American forces quickly argued that the operation took place in spite of, not because of, Mr. Trump and that if the military had not slow-rolled his plan to withdraw, the raid would not have been possible. Rather than justifying a pullout, they said, the raid underscored the importance of maintaining an American military presence in Syria and Iraq to keep pressure on the Islamic State.

“We must keep in mind that we were able to strike Baghdadi because we had forces in the region,” said Representative Michael Waltz, Republican of Florida and a former Army Green Beret. “We must keep ISIS from returning by staying on offense.”

Trump returns to paying tribute to the US dog that was injured in the operation. “The canine, a beautiful dog, a talented dog, was injured and brought back,” he says.

Quote
The president made a point of repeatedly portraying Mr. al-Baghdadi as “sick and depraved” and him and his followers as “losers” and “frightened puppies,” using inflammatory, boastful language unlike the more solemn approaches by other presidents in such moments. “He died like a dog,” Mr. Trump said. “He died like a coward.”

Paging Luee...

Logging in, the VA was a mess when the Donald took over and from my personal experience and knowledge it has improved greatly since corrections were made. Still a long way to go. I am presently being treated in the Tampa area with timeliness, courtesy, and respect. This was after an abbreviated appeal process in NY. Dems deserve no credit for closing their eyes. They now implemented an improved star rating system;
https://www.va.gov/QUALITYOFCARE/measure-up/End_of_Year_Hospital_star_Rating_FY2018.asp

not all 5 stars like under BHO, and the appeal process actually works now that non-cynical outside Drs. are being used.

Trump is going to be so pissed when America says, “We killed who?” and don’t run out and dance in the streets as when bin Laden got smoked.

And he’s still going down.
