So Nancy relents to GOP pressure and will call for a House vote to proceed with “ public” hearings in an impeachment process. What else could she do when her  critics have been right but she refused to concede their point?
So she throws MSNBC, CNN, and the NYTimes under the bus for her previous skip-the-vote stance.

There is a reason Trump wasn't my candidate

But he's doing just fine by me.

Yup.

You don't care about children stolen from their parents and put in concentration camps.
You don't care about the thousands of them sexually abused in government care.
You don't care about the serial lies told by the government about how many they had taken, including after they were told not to.

You don't care about genocide of the Kurds, done with our permission.

You don't care about the deaths from loosening of air pollution standards and enforcement.
You don't care about the water being polluted anew from coal waste.

You don't care about the rights of lgbt folks in the slightest.
You don't care about the rights of minorities.
You don't care about the poor.

He's doing just fine by you.

How many heroes and patriots will have to come forward and honestly testify against the treasonous acts of a corrupt Commander and thief, before the cowardly Republicans put country before party and do the right thing?

How do they talk to their children of love of country, honor and patriotism, when they have none?

I don't know how many, Banks, but here's another of them:

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/read-alexander-vindmans-full-opening-statement-on-trump-and-ukraine?fbclid=IwAR2bwF-B7Y2udTXRM4i7Y9f1mx9ZUH5dCROFi0wQ5EKpzWmV_0vvU7YcMpI

Quote
Vindman is the first current White House official set to appear as the impeachment inquiry reaches deeper into the Trump administration and Democrats prepare for the next, public phase of the probe.

The 20-year military officer will testify that he first reported his concerns after an earlier meeting in which U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland stressed the importance of having Ukraine investigate the 2016 election as well as Burisma, a company linked to the family of 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.

Vindman says he told Sondland that “his statements were inappropriate, that the request to investigate Biden and his son had nothing to do with national security, and that such investigations were not something the NSC was going to get involved in or push.

Seems pretty clear. I am sure that he, too, will come under attack for speaking out, but his testimony puts Sondland's in perspective, when added to Taylor's. And all of it puts Trump's lies in a position in which only Kid can deny its import. (Ward will just talk about a squirrel somewhere or ask inane questions.)

https://www.cnn.com/2019/10/28/politics/judge-impeachment-court-case/index.html

Kupperman says the subpoena demands he testify while the White House tells him not to, so he is going to leave it up to the court to decide for him if he has to. The judge has him appearing along with lawyers for the Trump White House and for the House of Representatives.

He's another who was on that infamous phone call... and he shares an attorney with Bolton!

Meanwhile, inquiring minds want to know how Ward feels about Donald Trump calling his GOP opponents (some of whom are not the Never Trump folks he claims they are) "human scum."

Is that a less negative term than "deplorables" or is it more negative?

Ward is angling for a government contract selling shoes to the trump campaign. They put an add on Craigslist and Ward was among the first to put in what he hopes will be a competitive bid.

Have you spent enough conspicuously enough at trump properties? Is it already too late for that to even matter?

Dump trump in the Potomac with Kiid’s brown shirt.

Thank God he did not tell Democrats! Something might have leaked.

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/officials-cringe-trump-spills-sensitive-details-al-baghdadi-raid-n1073001

Exactly what he said

What part was exactly as he said?

The parts where he lied about details to make himself seem more involved?  The parts where he lied about what was said to Russia to make them appear to be allies? Or the parts where he revealed classified special forces tactics that could put the lives of those forces in danger in the future?

For his not being your candidate, I dont think Trump could ask for a more unthinking and ignorant supporter.

FOX is already calling this patriot a “double agent” for Ukraine.

The testimony doesn’t put Sondlands in perspective. It calls him out for lying to Congress. He has good lawyers, I’m sure. He is going to need them.

And his public testimony is going to be a hoot.

He came from the old Soviet Union when he was three years old.  Don't you realize they train them young over there?  Being a three year old is the perfect cover, man.   I've watched every episode of "The Americans."  I know how these people work.

Of course not.  When you're in the GOP,  and the House decides to do exactly what you're howling for them to do, you then move the goalposts!   Now there will be something wrong with the formal impeachment resolution.
