McConnell: I am not an impartial juror.
How does it work, when you pledge to violate a Constitutionally mandated oath to be an impartial juror before you take the oath?
Note what McConnell is saying. It's a "partisan process" so therefore I am under no obligation to consider the facts.
I mean, it makes sense since the facts are clear that Trump is a guilty fuck, and any idiot can see it. So McConnell who (unlike some notable posters here) has enough self-regard that he doesn't want to look like an idiot, is announcing ahead of time that this decision will not be in any way based on Trump's actual guilt.
Which suits his personal political purposes now, but it screws over our Democracy when you say hey, a President can do whatever he wants so long as one branch of Congress is partisan enough to protect him.
Not a good look for the folks sworn to uphold our Constitution.
