Meanwhile, the lovely Miranda writes;

https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/rendezview/miranda-devine-hating-trump-is-a-certified-psychological-condition/news-story/50b4963d3dbfdb8caac812aa3bd40845

Miranda Devine: Hating Trump is a certified psychological condition

Three years on from the US election, sufferers of Trump Derangement Syndrome are still seeking therapy — and driving the Democrats to self-harm, writes Miranda Devine.

For a country that survived slavery, a civil war, the Great Depression, World War II and the Cold War, and emerged stronger through adversity, America seems to be losing its mind over Trump Derangement Syndrome.

That’s the view from the New York Times, anyway, which is reporting on therapists who are overwhelmed with treating Trump-haters.
It’s “a chronic feeling that’s bordering on despair”, New York psychologist Karen Starr tells the newspaper.

“What’s going on in the government is so extreme that people who have no history of overwhelming psychological trauma still feel crazed by [Trump],” said another therapist.
It is a “psychic tax on the population” akin to “watching someone you love die of a wasting disease”, said another.

Also known as “democracy grief”, TDS is “a mental condition in which a person has been driven effectively insane due to their dislike of Donald Trump, to the point at which they will abandon all logic and reason,” according to the Urban Dictionary.

#####

Well there you go.
TDS.

Oh do shut up.

If you follow these regular vile eruptions you can't be surprised. Over the years during Obama's annual, thoughtful national address, his feral critics have excitedly denounced him in real time as an “arrogant,” “flippant” “jerk.” He was “fake,” “thin-skinned,” “cocky and snide” ; “patronizing,” “demagogic,” “unpresidential,” and really, really “arrogant.” And he often gave a “stupid,” “Castro-like,” "evil speech."

By all indications Obama's final year in office is going to feature a never-ending geyser from the far-right press, where every move and utterance from the president is met with overwrought name-calling and desperate cries of help. His critics have bronzed and memorialized the art of indignation. (And also berated the president's wife, endlessly.)

So much winning.

Such a well planned and executed withdrawal from Syria.

So what if Russia got its hands on our tomahawk missle and plans to counter it, right? They're our boss friend, now, aren't they?!

Friends close.  Enemies closer.

Yeah, screw over your friends and give your enemies the weapons to destroy your friends.

Pure logic.

Global warming?
A challenge.
But according to the International Database of Disasters
wealthy societies are well-positioned to develop clean technologies and to deal with the problems of a changing climate. Annual deaths from climate-related disasters declined by one-third between 2000-09 and 2010-15, to 0.35 per 100,000 people—a 95% reduction since the 1960s. That’s not because of fewer disasters, but better capabilities to deal with them.

Interesting that the report
Progress: Ten Reasons to Look Forward to the Future
Concludes
Mankind creates faster than they can squander, and repairs more than they can destroy.

The last of this is our sole hope, Ward, but it is a really stupid thing to bet on as the stakes rise.

The first is very much the point of one of the things we keep telling you and you keep ignoring:
Quite the opposite. But believe what you want.
The whole point of the reports is that the world is defeating poverty giving the poorer countries a better chance to prosper.

And my point is that it is not happening fast enough to counter the rise of the oceans under the current level of international effort.

"A better chance" won't do the job under the current circumstances.

My post WAS about current circumstances. The world is better off today than it has ever been and will get even better tomorrow.
Despite your overwrought climate change alarmism the world is adapting, as it always has.

Motion to DISMISS carries.

Cool.

Like copping a plea, “Not guilty by reason of Presidenting”

Good luck running on that outside your 40% max. That’s why the GOP is busy purging voters.

We need to have the power to help our homeless and to feed the hungry, and we need to have the power to own our own companies and to create our own jobs. I hate feeling helpless, we need to be able to help ourselves.

I have been poor all of my life, and we need for future generations to do better than we have.

We need to raise the American children to grow up and to take over the corporations, and to run the companies, and to take care of the homeless and the Veterans, etc.

Right now the Japanese, and the Chinese, control everything, and they do not care about the homeless in America, and they do not care about American Veterans, etc. And California lost over 500,000 jobs to China alone.

Meanwhile, while we lose all of our companies to the Japanese and to the Chinese, people are trying to blame the Mexican immigrants for the problems, and it is all baloney. It is the people at the top who need to get busted, not the poor homeless immigrant coming here for a job.

We need to take our power back, and we need to own our own companies, and we need to be able to help our homeless and our Veterans.

Just a few thoughts...

Salute,

Tony V.

What Party is purging the election rolls?

What President extorted a foreign nation to interfere with our electoral process?

Have a seat.

Making sure the nation knows that the imposter in the White House is there under false pretenses, is violating his oath, is looting from the treasury what he hasn’t squandered, and is already committing felonies to cheat in the upcoming election is definitely a benefit to voters as well as the election process.

We do house the Veterans here in Anaheim, here in Anaheim everyone who needs help gets it.

And a new facility is being built in Orange for the mentally ill, it will be a one stop shop where anyone who is mentally ill can walk in and get help with whatever they need.

Link...

https://patch.com/california/lakeforest-ca/be-well-mental-health-facility-will-be-first-its-kind

In Anaheim the people of the city own the electric company, and we sell electricity to Disneyland, and we also own Angel Stadium, and the Honda Center, and The Grove, and the Anaheim Convention Center which is one of the biggest in the world. So Anaheim has a lot of money coming in to help the homeless, and for new parks and new playgrounds for the children, etc. Anaheim is a rich city, and the Veterans are helped, along with everyone else.

If the Japanese owned Angel Stadium then we would not benefit like we do when the people of Anaheim own it. Ironically the City of Anaheim also owns the Honda Center, and we need to keep it, it should not be for sale.

And we need to teach the business students how to create jobs here in the USA, and we need to give them business loans and redevelopment money to help regain positive momentum in the direction of more job creation in the USA.

The students of today need to own the corporations of tomorrow, they need all of the tools.
