I can't see how capitalism is about sharing.
Seems to me that capitalism is all about making money for yourself, any legal way you can.
Gotta love assets increasing in value by market forces.
Says a lot about Josh’s integrity.

Good try, asshole.

It says a lot about capitalism and the integrity of those who believe in it.
If that is your argument why don’t you make  it instead of cowardly editing another poster’s comment?

Cowardice!

Exactly.

Note, Ward, your ability to respond to my point about the lack of integrity of corporations was nil, because you know I am right.

So, make your stupid, venal insults all you would like, asshole. Capitalism is about making money, regardless of legality.

And you know it.
LOL!

Or do you need a list of corporations that have done things without regard for legality in order to make money?!

Enron ring any bells?

BP and Deepwater Horizon?

Big tobacco - the bunch of them?

So many... and those are just the ones that everybody knows about.

Asia Pulp and Paper, Johnson & Johnson, and a host of others get less press for their crimes, but are just as much engaged in illegal activity for the purpose of profit-making.

And, of course, Donald J. Trump's casino money-laundering is a fine example of capitalism at work, as well.
---------------

Nor is it just illegality - immorality is involved, as well, as any Nestle fan can tell you or others who follow international slavery and child labor abuses.

You are such an asshole for your ongoing support of that kind of activity.

LOL away, asshole.

While you're LOLing, LOL about this:
https://d3i6fh83elv35t.cloudfront.net/static/2020/01/New-Evidence.pdf

Giuliani's explicitly stating that he is writing as the personal attorney to Zelensky. How, then, is that governmental concern with corruption?

Oh, wait. It isn't.

It's Trump's personal business that has Giuliani working to get Zelensky to say he is investigating the Bidens, not "officially" a US request.

But the holding up of $$ was an official action, taken for an personal request.

Hey, maybe you can LOL about threats to the Ambassador, instead? Electronic surveillance of her. Oh, so funny, right, Laughing Boy?!

It's a laugh riot!

Another day, another GOP elected official being a dick about women:
https://www.newsweek.com/michigan-senator-peter-lucido-allison-donahue-reporter-1482337?utm_source=SonyNewssuite&utm_medium=Site&utm_campaign=Partnerships&fbclid=IwAR2JvzooFeYfh3MZBD9PkVokbd1Jfaxh6oE4VAZHVAl3rLc9RsS3VsERSZo

Yeah, telling a female reporter that the teen boys "could have a lot of fun" with her is so clever.

Counting the seconds for Ward to LOL about it while Kid tells us it's an overreaction or to just stop, and Bambi insists the woman had it coming for trying to work near the dick.

The guy hasn't been paying attention.
He should've just said "no comment" and walked away.
Now look what's happened.

This is an interesting exploration of Putin's changes and his motivations:
https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/15/opinions/putin-constitutional-changes-treisman/index.html

Acceptable reading for even faux-conservative, GOP folks.

Probably too intricate for you, though, Bambi.

Susan Collins throws cold water on new Lev Parnas evidence. “I wonder why the House did not put that into the record and it’s only now being revealed.” Told it was just turned over, she says: “well doesn’t that suggest that the House did an incomplete job then?”

So aggressively clueless.

Is clueless the newest polite way to say stupid?  Whatever it is,  if you make it to the Senate you own it,  and hopefully the electorate holds you accountable for it.

Capitalism is about holding hands and sharing with the poor and singing Kumbaya.    There you go,  Ward,  now you can sleep tight.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/15/politics/lev-parnas-trump-ukraine/index.html

"Why would (they) meet with me? Who am I? They were told to meet with me," he said.

Quote
Indicted Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas, a central figure in the White House's alleged Ukraine pressure campaign, said President Donald Trump "knew exactly what was going on" despite his repeated denials of wrongdoing.

"He was aware of all my movements. I wouldn't do anything without the consent of Rudy Giuliani, or the President," Parnas told MSNBC's Rachel Maddow on Wednesday night. "I have no intent, I have no reason, to speak to any of these officials."
Parnas asserted he was the one "on the ground" doing Trump and Giuliani's work, "and that's the secret that they're trying to keep."
"Why would President Zelensky's inner circle, or Minister Avakov, or all these people, or President Poroshenko, meet with me? Who am I? They were told to meet with me," he said.

It’s increasingly doubtful now that trump will stay in office long enough to address the urgent problem of low water pressure in the nation’s toilets.

Correct.
I get what's he's up to though...no degree from Harvard needed for that.
Do need a degree from Harvard to understand the complexities of the detail.

In his case, 'better the devil you know'.
