The Trump Retribution Tour, 2020 edition.

I'm wondering if he is going to start trying to fire or otherwise punish some of these lower court judges who keep ruling against him, while he refuses to give up any evidence that could be used against him in a court of law, like his DNA. (Such an odious burden that is being demanded of him. The poor, poor man.)

Bloomberg has made so many questionable decisions and statements that one would think he had no chance... except that Trump has shown us that that is not the case.

Every election cycle, we here at this point talks about a brokered convention and while there might not be a candidate with enough delegates to win on the first ballot, there certainly are no brokers anymore.  My constant theme.

Perhaps not in the old-school sense, but there are superdelegates.  The current definition of brokered is that the first ballot fails and then superdelegates comes into play with the potential for strong bosses to emerge and do some horse trading and so on.   I guess if bosses are weak or nonexistent, then "contested" convention is really more accurate.  And,  taking your point,  that would be more likely.   Delegates will be released,  a second ballot will be taken,  and maybe several,  until something forms from the chaos.   If superdelegates have a decisive effect en masse, it might come from their being political office holders and having some pragmatic sense of who could really win voters in their jurisdictions.  Of course,  they are only 15% of the total delegates,  so they would have to cast some long shadows...

I don't know what polls you are looking at, but it sure looks like he's third in national polling to me!

I expect that to change if Biden doesn't thrive in the next two states. I expect both Buttigieg and Klobuchar's numbers to climb, as well.

But Bloomberg's rise has prompted the long knives to come out and some of them have teeth.

City of Anaheim- Municipal Government

15 hrs ·

Anaheim has adopted a groundbreaking program to help seniors struggling with housing costs.

The Senior Safety Net program offers emergency financial help, assistance paying monthly rent and counseling and service referrals to prevent housing challenges among seniors.

The program is set to start in March and operate out of the Downtown Anaheim Community Center. The program’s funding is estimated to help about 100 Anaheim seniors in need of housing assistance and counseling.

You can read more at Anaheim.net or https://bit.ly/2ULU9CG

-----------------

Anaheim has a lot of good programs.

If we can help the seniors, and the students, and the disabled, and if we could have cheap hostels like in Rome for $15 per night, then we could pretty much solve the homelessness issue.

And we need Ivanka Trump to come here and to give business loans to all of our women.

We also need a movie studio here in Anaheim, and we need entertainment industry jobs.

And of course we need a high speed train between Anaheim and Vegas.

Salute,

Tony V.
