And then if the guy doesn't or is clearly sick, now I'll ask another guy on my team to guard him.  I don't bother explain why.

That's not very nice to your teammate.

I'm with Melania on this one.

Yes, tweeting about it might have been ill-advised in this environment, but the work is reasonable as WH maintenance and upgrades go.

I'm not sure there is a way to defend it, however, despite its being reasonable.

Trump playing tennis,  eh.  Reminds me... A detail that has slipped by unnoticed was that potus never did have that ‘second half’ of his annual medical examination that was supposed to have taken place in February of this year.   The 'first half' as some may recall had all the earmarks of something like a mild heart attack or angina attack which was being covered up.

On the issue of helping the homeless people in Anaheim, I had a little communication with City Hall...

----------------

I just saw a couple of homeless people at the CVS by the City Hall, and I gave them a few dollars, and I was going to welcome them to the city of Kindness and send them to the City Hall so that they can get help. But, there needs to be a special office at City Hall to send the homeless people to so that they can get help. I know there is the Anaheim Housing Authority, but there needs to be a crisis intervention office for the homeless to get them off of the streets immediately and get them access to showers and clean clothes, etc, and to get them on a path to improvement.

Anaheim needs a Homelessness Crisis Intervention Office.

Salute,

Tony V.

--------------------------

City of Anaheim- Municipal Government - Hi Tony. We actually do have something for this we call it our Homeless Outreach Team and it is through Anaheim PD. Next time feel free to call (714) 765-1900.

-------------------------

Actually, a lot of our homeless people do not like the police officers, some are immigrants who fear ICE, and some of our homeless people are drug addicts and others who have had problems with the police and who do not feel allied with the police department. Therefore, we need a Homelessness Crisis Intervention Office with trained Social Workers, and with Psychiatrists who are trained to help the mentally ill, and with service providers who are trained to work with the homeless people, etc.

We need trained Social Workers to help the homeless people, and we do not need the police officers to be responsible for helping the homeless.

Also, the new Be Well center in Orange that is being built is going to be great, and we will be able to send the homeless people there to get help.

Salute,

Tony V.

"The Trump administration’s decision to forgo a World Health Organization test and create its own had fateful consequences, experts say."

But now we know why they refused the WHO kits!

The COVID-19 disease and its associated novel coronaviruse are still not contained:

https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/07/politics/cpac-coronavirus-tested-positive/index.html

Quote
President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and other administration officials attended the conference, though the ACU says the attendee did not come into contact with the president or vice president, nor did they attend events in the main hall.

The ACU said the Trump administration "is aware of the situation."

"The exposure occurred previous to the conference. A New Jersey hospital tested the person, and CDC confirmed the positive result," ACU said in a statement. "The individual is under the care of medical professionals in the state of New Jersey, and has been quarantined."

The ACU noted that it has been in contact with the state of Maryland's health department and would follow guidance from health experts.

"Our children, spouses, extended family, and friends attended CPAC. During this time, we need to remain calm, listen to our health care professionals, and support each other. We send this message in that spirit," ACU said in a statement.

While they know the person didn't interact with the Prez or Veep, they have no idea if there was 2nd, 3rd, or 4th hand contact. None. But they are not discussing that.

Get your masks ready ...

14 days self isolation...got enough food, long life milk, tissues, toilet paper etc?
Better stock up before the shelf-strippers take it all.

Daily Telegraph;

It’s every man and woman for themselves in widespread NSW toilet paper warfare:

A brawl has broken out between women in a Woolworths supermarket aisle over toilet paper as coronavirus hysteria continues.
Video of the chaotic scenes inside Woolworths at Chullora this morning showed the women in a scuffle and screaming at the top of their lungs …

they don't help.

They do if you come in contact with someone who has the virus.
They can stop transmission and protect you from getting the virus.
Which is the whole point.  Why is this hard to understand?

Why do you think health care professionals wear them?

Another day, another racist rises in the White House.

Quote
After Rep. Mark Meadows defended himself against allegations of racism during a House committee meeting Wednesday, critics resurfaced two 2012 videos of the North Carolina Republican in which he vowed to send then-President Barack Obama "home to Kenya."

Later, Meadows explained that, "It was probably a poor choice of words."

That was apparently intended to serve as an apology and to get him off the hook forever.
