A maybe groper, Biden, is in every way preferable to an immature homicidal incompetent loser, and multiple rapist trump. The American people know it, and that’s before we even find out exactly for who trump is a puppet by getting a look into his finances.

Say what Joe?

From MSNBC

Former Vice President Joe Biden, after again emphatically denying the claim of a former staffer that he sexually assaulted her nearly three decades ago, acknowledged for the first time Thursday the dilemma now facing some potential supporters in November, saying: “They should vote with their heart.”

“If they believe Tara Reade, they probably shouldn’t vote for me. I wouldn’t vote for me if I believed Tara Reade,” Biden told Lawrence O’Donnell during an extended interview Thursday on MSNBC.

Really Joe?

One-third of Democratic voters believe the sexual harassment, assault allegations against Joe Biden, a new Hill-HarrisX survey finds.
Thirty-four percent of Democrats in the May 11-12 poll believe the harassment claims made by former Senate staffer, Tara Reade, and 30 percent believe the sexual assault accusations...

According to a Monmouth Poll last week:

The electorate is divided on the validity of thisallegation – 37% say it is probably true, 32% say it is probably not true, and 31% have no opinion.
Opinion on this question breaks sharply along partisan lines. More Republicans say the allegation is probably true (50%) than not true (17%) while more Democrats say is it is probably not true (55%) than true (20%). Independents are more likely to feel that the allegation is true (43%) rather than not true (22%), while 35% have no opinion either way. Overall, men (39% true and 29% not true) are slightly more likely than women (35% true and 34% not true) to believe the charge against Biden.

If voters take Joe at his word he is not looking too good.

They shouldn't vote for Trump, either. The problem is that some Democrats perceive it as a problem if a candidate sexually assaulted a woman (or 20 of them).

Joe’s problem now is has no identity after admitting he is not the anti-Trump.

Dems/Biden have a lot of work to do.

They need to make clear statements.
And explain issues and distinctions concisely.
Trump and his gang try to muddy the waters on everything.

I would prefer Biden to say that there is a recent allegation which dates back to  1993.  And while he knows that he didn't do any such thing and this didn't happen,  there's simply no way he can prove anything about an allegation about 27 years ago, which was never reported or investigated.  And since there is no way he can clear his name or prove innocence about an allegation of that age, that he's not going to address it further.

Then Biden should stress the importance of women making timely complaints so things can be investigated, further behavior by a bad actor can be stopped, the criminal justice system and/or workplaces can determine what happened and what should be done.  that he realizes things can be difficult or even traumatic but that's the only way effective action can be taken and a sexual abuser brought to justice.

Get into 'em, Donny boy!

They've virtually destroyed Australia's barley exports, doing a good job of destroying our beef industry, ...wine, dairy, and seafood etc will likely be next.
All because we're backing an Independent Inquiry into the source of Coronavirus.

Aussies, led by PM ScoMo have decided to fight this time...no backing down this time, not much of a future in being China's slave.
China is not answering the phone...couldn't cower before it even if we wanted to.
We have only had about 100 deaths, all tragic losses...but we see our American and British friends dying by the many tens of thousands.

"Summon the spirit of the ANZACS" PM ScoMo said as our lockdowns started.
"It's going to be tough".

Indeed.
The People have decided that's what they're going to do, fight. They have reportedly realised that China is not their friend.
Go broke fighting the economic war?
Then so it must be.
We'll just eat what we can of the beef, drink the wine, drink the milk, eat the bread ourselves, and never buy anything again "Made in China".

One older man who has had a serious illness, went to the concrete wall Chinese embassy, whip in hand, ...looked into the security cameras and let 'em have it with words, pausing only to crack the whip. Told 'em in no uncertain terms what he thought of them, with some threats...how he was going to smack the chief guy in the head or something. He's on trial next month.
They should give him a medal instead of tossing him in prison.

Just when all seemed lost, this morning I awaken to this;

China is ‘cashing in on coronavirus chaos’: US envoy

The Chinese government has created a global pandemic through their “gross negligence, obsessive secrecy and brazen dishonesty” — and is now using it to advance their interest in our region, the United States ambassador to Australia says.

The Chinese government has created a global pandemic through their “gross negligence, obsessive secrecy and brazen dishonesty” — and is now using it to advance their interest in our region, the United States ambassador to Australia says.

Condemning China over its culpability in the spread of COVID-19, Ambassador Arthur B. Culvahouse described President Xi Jinping’s communist regime as “bullies” who were trying to destabilise our region with a “shocking new vigour” while the rest of the world dealt with the health and economic consequences of the coronavirus.

This will require a lot more investigation, because if it is proven it would be the first time, vs. many suspected but unproven instances before this.
