No.  They just want to do the minimum and move on to a vote.
It's a fig leaf.

As far as I heard Judge didn't directly deny that there was such a party or that the alleged sexual assault occurred.  He just stated that he doesn't recall any such thing.  It's a carefully crafted denial, no doubt on advice of counsel.

Not sure if his statement has been made public or has leaked out.

I think I made the same joke about Graham yesterday. Trump is forcing me to cycle through my material,way to quickly.

Any chance I might have thought of Kavanagh as angry over being wrongly accused went away when he started talking about the 2016 3lection and the Clintons. That was not legitimate anger but a show orchestrated by the White  House. That and lying about terms like "alumni" and Devil's Triangle. Okay, you can be an ass in high school. Most of us were. But.fucking OWN IT. Don't lie about it and expect to be believed about big things.
