$250,000.00 to each individual teacher should go a little way to help.

Just write a big fat check, Dem.

Swift action helped Cuba contain its outbreak. After closing borders, schools and public transportation in March, Cuba urged residents to stay home, made wearing of masks obligatory, and employed effective contact tracing to curb the virus spread.

Go, Cuba

Of course they don't travel, so that surely helps

So now Ward's a champion of better healthcare for seniors, especially those of lower income.
Income is not a factor. Lack of adequate care for the most vulnerable is a sad byproduct of the ignorance of science and politicians. And it is universal.

Sweden, in treating the elderly, made the same mistake as everyone else in not recognizing immediately the need to pour more resources into elderly care.
But by avoiding a crushing lockdown ilit gave all its citizens a much better chance to get care for other medical and psychological problems brought on by a collapsing economy.

No, Ward. Still bullshit.

There is no evidence to support your supposition that that made difference, let alone a significant one.

And you still ignore that they have had 4 to 9 times the death rate of their neighbors.

Maybe you mean they will be better prepared to deal with the psychological trauma caused by excessive deaths that their policy brought on.
Maybe you ought to pay attention.

Red speaks with forked tongue. A condition he's had for awhile. It allows him to lie and obfuscate from both sides of his mouth.

Fortunately for Red, he's covered for forked tongue under ACA. if not for a brave maverick, Repubs would have stripped away that safe-guard. He should thank his lucky stars for the bravery of Sen. McCain.

Income is a factor, not just ignorance of scientists and ignorance of politicians.

Maybe you should pay attention.

Nor is it just restricted to this country.

Boy, those Democratic politicians are intent on making Trump look bad. Governor Ivey even changed parties to become GOP back when she was 18, just itching to get at Trump in 2020!

And the media down there - how dare they report the truth?!

Quote
"The mayor of Montgomery, Alabama, says the city’s health care system has been “maxed out” as cases of coronavirus have more than doubled in May—a sharp contrast to the slowing coronavirus spread that’s taken place across much of the U.S.—while city businesses were allowed to reopen May 11, even as it appeared that Alabama hadn’t hit White House reopening guidelines.

"Major hospitals in the Montgomery area have run out of ICU beds, Mayor Steven Reed said at a news conference Wednesday, while others only one or two beds left.

"Patients in need of care are now instead being sent 90 miles away to Birmingham, Alabama, the mayor said, a step the city hasn’t had to take until now.

"Over 470 people have tested positive in Montgomery over the past two weeks, the Alabama Political Reporter notes, while the city only had a cumulative total of 355 cases going into May.

"With cases quickly rising, the city was placed on an unreleased White House hotspot watch list on May 7, according to NBC News, which obtained a copy of the report.

"But despite the rapid spread, businesses in the city were allowed to reopen starting May 11, after Governor Kay Ivey officially moved Alabama into Phase 1 of its reopening."

Keep plugging away.
But I doubt you will ever understand.

Income is a factor.

You have to have the ability to navigate the system the time to do so and the mobility to access the services.

If the Republicans had spent the past ten years trying to make the system work instead of trying to take it apart...

This fucked up system and party led government is precisely the shit show you’ve been arguing in favor of for the last decade.

Pool party or Southern Baptists holding their sacred rite?

I’d hate to be a healthcare worker in that area...

My friends son is a doctor at Elmhurst who will be leaving in mid June. He got tested for the first time day before yesterday.
