He was just kidding.

Wait.  He said he doesn't kid.

It's all so very confusing having an intellectual in the White House.

Street-cleaning crews and trucks swept away and cleared out tents from the plaza on 16th Street NW, a block away from Lafayette Square, where protesters attempted to pull down a statue of former President Andrew Jackson Monday night. Police then responded with pepper spray and batons, and some protesters threw objects at the police officers, The Washington Post reported.
After pushing back protesters and chanting "move back, move back" Tuesday morning, police appeared to enter a standoff with the protesters, not allowing demonstrators or bystanders through. A police line could be seen surrounding the plaza on three surrounding streets.

When he said he’d make America great again he was just kidding. That’s what bullshitting rapist conmen do.

Major show of weakness by the administration. Trump keeps getting outfoxed by true patriots and it’s making him more irrelevant by the day.

Washington kept hundreds of slaves.
When will the Washington monument be demolished?

Probably never since he was one of the people responsible for starting the nation.

The founding dudes were very flawed people but they were forming THIS nation, not trying to destroy it.

I give you this outline - point out what irks you and I will respond

“Trump's use of the ‘joking’ and ‘sarcasm’ cards is merely an extension of his habit of making misleading statements, sowing confusion and pushing false claims.”

“he suggested during a coronavirus briefing that "tremendous" amounts of ultra-violet light or disinfectant could somehow be a potential cure for the virus.
The comments prompted manufacturers to issue warnings cautioning people against drinking bleach and other disinfectants. Poison control centers across the country reported a spike in calls.

When asked about the incident the next day, Trump tried to correct the record, claiming he had made the comments sarcastically. His explanation itself was filled with falsehoods and other attempts to reframe his remarks. It was a classic example of Trump saying something confusing and potentially dangerous off-the-cuff, then playing it off as sarcasm when given the chance to explain what he was attempting to say in the first place.”

That's not an outline.

Oh, wait - you're joking.

I object to three things, Kid.

I object to the fact that he does not indicate something is (ostensibly) a joke until he's been called on it.

I object even when it might be humor that he does it at the expense of the suffering. No, Kid, I don't mean liberals. I mean the families of the dead, for example.

I object to his inability to grasp facts, while he lies about crap and (claims to) made jokes about it.

"We lead the world in testing." --> If by that he means we have run the most tests, it is certainly true. It would also be true then that "We lead the world in deaths from COVID-19," but I am sure he would quickly point out that we don't lead on a per capita basis. Regardless, we are maybe 16th or 18th per capita in testing among countries with at least a million people. And we are now 6th in the world in number of cases per capita, among those countries with at least a million in population. And 7th in deaths per capita.

YG,  you just have to remember that Trump "creates his own reality" when he speaks.  If he reverses himself it just means he is creating a newer, better reality.  That is what Masters of the Universe do. - they create reality and we mere mortals just have to live with it.

See how easy it is to understand?

That is the Republican Party and while we debate whether he was kidding or not they’re moved ahead to keep the shit show in motion.

https://exjournalistsunite.wordpress.com/2020/02/03/were-living-in-the-republican-partys-altered-states/

Trump has boiled his support down to a hardcore 35% who will never leave him no matter what.

Time for the left to stop trying to sell the media on their agenda. Reality is gonna be a bitch for these people about to get blitzed.

They bought what Trump was selling, “those people are dying and the old people were old people. Gonna save money on their SS, Medicaid and Medicare.”
