Because that is certainly what looks like, given the reporting.

Given ALL the reporting - or just what suits what you wish to believe?

Given Boris Johnson's response.

Boris Johnson, whose election Russia also aided?

He is saying that the UK will respond.

Trump hasn't even said that it isn't ok.

Why does someone jump to the conclusion that everyone in the government is lying and
only Trump is telling the truth?

In fairness:
Quote
National Intelligence Director John Ratcliffe denied that the president had been briefed on the issue on Saturday, though he didn’t dispute the veracity of the Russian bounty plot.

Does Ratcliffe have credibility?

No.

Which part is the funny part?

What is funny about Trump's derelition of duty?

What's funnier ignoring the CV threat and allowing it to spread or ignoring the ever present Russian threat?

OR?

WHAT IS THE FUNNY PART?

Or are you just a fucking moron incapable of seeing the disaster unfold and the dangers it holds?

This is not reporting.  This is Fox news interviewing the woman who worked for four months under Flynn in the Trump Administration...

But OK, lets give this more attention than it deserves.  Her "arguments"

1.  Russia can't afford to pay the bounties.  They just don't have the money.  Russia doesn't have $500,000 to enact a major policy objective in Afghanistan?  Totally absurd.

2.  Russians hate the Taliban.   Which means they could not see them as a useful tool to get the US out of Afghanistan?  There are reports that Russia has been meeting with Taliban leaders.  To set up the bounties?  Maybe, maybe not.  But we know they are talking.

3.  Why give the Taliban money to push Americans out when they are already leaving?  They haven't left.  And the speculation is that the attacks are meant to complicate the negotiations.

4.  Unverified intelligence should not go to the President because what if he acts on it and it turns out to not be true?  Conversely, what if he offers the enemy leader a spot on the G7 when it turns out he has been trying to kill American and NATO troops?  This is ridiculous.  A President should be given the information, and allowed to determine what the appropriate response should be given the level of certainty.

They then spend the rest of the time talking about the Russia Hoax which has been conclusively shown to not, in fact, be a hoax.

Yeah, good reporting kiidcarter8.  What was that about only getting the news you want to hear?

Trump's tweet today says he wasn't told about the intelligence because "they did not find this info credible."  Which is a lie.

So why is the "president" lying instead of saying "We are looking into this.  If this is found to be true, we will respond in kind."

Would that be so hard? Isn't that a reasonable response, even if there was the uncertainty that McFarland is talking about?

Why is that not the response, kiidcarter8?

Even Liz Cheney is demanding answers on this.

kiidcarter8 is so far up Trump's ass, he is willing to excuse some dead American Troops for the cause of his reelection.

Two major decisions from SCOTUS today:
https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/supreme-court-hands-major-decision-louisiana-abortion-case/story?id=71254751

Roberts' concurrence is fascinating (and bodes ill, long term, IMO).

And also, the Court said that yes, Trump can fire the head of the CFPB. The decision makes it unclear if he can fire any sole director, however.

Your denial of the authority of the Pope hurts Jesus' most compassionate heart, heathen.

Also, you are a RACIST. Just need to remind people of an important fact.

You are one of my favorite people here, but...please consider us reminded.  Completely indelibly reminded.

I still have to lol at kiidcarter8's question; "What can the US President possibly do for Russia, anyway?"

How about allow them to have US Troops killed with impunity, kiidcarter8?  Nothing to say about that?

...but go ahead and post more racist bullshit about illegal immigrants.

Have there BEEN US military deaths linked to Russia?

The Russian government PUTTING OUT A CONTRACT ON U.S. SOLDIERS is a provocative act, a promotion of a shadow war.

Try to keep up.

Yeah!

They only comment on hypotheticals that benefit them.
