Lock him up!
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/08/28/house-democrats-announce-contempt-proceedings-against-mike-pompeo.html

The Democrat-led House Foreign Affairs Committee announced that it will launch proceedings to hold Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in contempt.

The contempt resolution against Pompeo is being drafted in response to the Cabinet official’s “ongoing refusal to comply” with a congressional subpoena and “his transparently political misuse of Department resources,” the committee said.

Chairman Eliot Engel, D-N.Y., said that Pompeo “has demonstrated alarming disregard for the laws and rules governing his own conduct and for the tools the constitution provides to prevent government corruption.”

Go get him! Make some noise as you leave office...

Flamethrower shit.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/28/politics/charlotte-republican-convention-coronavirus/index.html

Meanwhile:
Republican convention in Charlotte tied to 4 cases of Covid-19

Quote
Four people involved with the Republican National Convention meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina, tested positive for Covid-19, county officials said, serving as a reminder that large GOP events that have largely eschewed safety measures could contribute to the spread of coronavirus.

Two attendees and two individuals "supporting the event" tested positive, according to an official release from Mecklenburg County, where Charlotte is located.

A spokesman for the party said the individuals tested positive upon arriving at the convention and were immediately sent home. In all, 792 Covid-19 tests were given to people who attended or provided support to the convention in Charlotte, the county said.

The city was originally going to host the entire Republican convention, but coronavirus-related concerns limited activities there to largely party business earlier this week rather than speeches, and much of the event was remote or held in Washington, DC.

Kiid is hoping that Rittenhouse is another George Zimmerman who became the friend he never had, a sort of mentor.  Kiid really had sympathy for Zimmerman.

It simply wasnt my position to judge Zimmerman.  You and many others here made it yours.

He attacked a kid, got his ass kicked and killed the kid he attacked.. in self-defense.

Yeah. I judged the bastard.

NYC tenants say they were tricked into appearing in the RNC video.

Why am I not surprised?

Trees murdered 2 adults and one child  in Melbourne Australia last night.

What about the thin green line that protects us all?  Why focus on these few deaths?  Statistically people kill way more people than trees do.

It just takes a few bad apple trees.   Prune,  or more will perish needlessly!

A good man must take the elm!   Or it will be fir naught.   Bad arborists only serve to magnoliafy the problem.

Not to mention local govt/boroughs that won't allow trees to be removed.

High winds can also knock down utility poles.   Stringing wires on poles is a barbaric practice and must be stopped.

Have you heard of Alexander Graham Kowalski?    He was the first telephone Pole.

Haven't heard of him.
The only ones I know of are "Killer Kowalski" from my tv "Ringside with the Wrestlers" program every Sat in the 60s...and Walt from "Gran Torino".
No tall trees in my estate, and power is underground.

Not for at least 6 more days - they now know at least 4 in Charlotte were positive, but we won't know the fallout from it for a while.

The stuff from last night's event is more than a week away at the earliest. 1,500 people, maskless and not distanced at all, with only some of them tested in advance. Just amazing.

What was he doing with an assault rifle at 17?
A gun at all?
Is that legal?

I dont know - but under different circumstance he carries that AR all night and nothing ever happens with it.

Tamir Rice had a toy gun and was shot within two seconds.

White people voted for McCain and Romney.

And many of the Whites who voted for Obama switched to Trump over race:

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/10/16/17980820/trump-obama-2016-race-racism-class-economy-2018-midterm
LOL!

Millions of “ racists and xenophobes” voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012 but chose Trump over Hillary because of race?
What made them vote for Obama ?
This story lacks any connection to common sense.

It’s more likely the counties that went for Obama previously had a bunch of folks who stayed home in 2016 election rather than switch and vote for Trump.

While being far less consequential in terms of peoples lives and well-being, seeing TRUMP 2020 inscribed over the Washington Monument in a fireworks display for the Republican National Convention is the most blatant.
When Obama bathed the White House in Rainbow Colors in 2015 I bet you had a different reaction

That’s such a stupid comparison.
