After three and a half years of looting and attacking law enforcement, trump is working on a plan to kill as many republicans as he can where ever he can find them. As sick as this demented performance is, it’s hard to argue that America isn’t better off with fewer republicans running around on the lose. Still, killing them off wholesale is a radical and extreme approach from the leader of their own party.

It simply wasnt my position to judge Zimmerman.  You and many others here made it yours.

He attacked a kid, got his ass kicked and killed the kid he attacked.. in self-defense.
Yeah. I judged the bastard.

Unsurprisingly, his post-murder/acquittal record is full of fuckups and poor judgement.

Normal countries simply don't allow dangerous shit like this to occur:

How do you know who these people are?  What their intentions are?  If they have any training or mental problems or criminal record?

This is just a clear and inherent danger to all, including police and bystanders.
All it takes is one nut or one second of bad judgment and someone or many are dead.

What kind of insanity allows random people to walk around in public with semi-automatic rifles with 30 round clips?

Extremely fucked up shit
This interlude of gun nuttery is not going to end well.

America is a normal country...with its own culture.
Its own laws, and own ways of doing things.

If people weren't rioting in the streets, looting, and burning down everything  in sight, ...night after night, week after week, month after month....there would likely be no vigilantes wandering around .

Just not true.

The places that have more guns have more gun deaths even in the households in which there is no crime being committed. And they have more gun deaths outside the home, too. You underestimate the machismo factor - the same drive that convinces a kid that if HE is there things will be better off than if he stayed at home is still there without a clear and present danger.

He cannot see that he is the clear and present danger.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/08/28/politics/emily-miller-food-and-drug-administration/index.html

Was she removed for "creating problems among career officials" or was she removed for promising not to lie and, perhaps, refusing to?

Quote
US Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Stephen Hahn has fired the agency's spokesperson Emily Miller one week after he announced her arrival at FDA, two sources confirmed to CNN, but she will remain at the agency as an "appointee."

Miller had only been on the job for a matter of days, but had already created problems among career officials within the agency. She was involved in prepping the commissioner and the press materials for the announcement on the emergency use authorization on convalescent plasma, though it's unclear if that is what ultimately led to her removal.
...
In a post made on Miller's personal Facebook page prior to her removal as spokesperson, she wrote that for as long as she held the position, she "will work nonstop to get information on COVID-19 tests, treatments and the vaccine process communicated to people as accurately and quickly as possible."

"I will not lie. I will not do anything that violates my personal ethics and values," the post reads.

A - Rittenhouse did not shoot the first shot.  8 shots altogether.  4 by Rittenberg.

B - Second person shot was as Rittenhouse was swung at, fell down - 3 people rush to assault Rittenhouse, he fired 2 shots that miss.  Then a man tries to disarm Rittenhouse and gets shot in the chest (this may have been guy with skateboard)

C - the third victim never gets to Rittenhouse but was holding a handgun.  4th shot hits man - the survivor - in the arm and man flees.

(From all videos pieced together - per SMERCONISH, CNN)

...as did others

And this doesn't excuse those who assaulted him.

SMERCONISH very nicely played it down the middle.  Here is what we know - and now the legal system will sort it out

Even if no shots were ever fired it seems Rittenhouse violated  anumber of laws:1
1) he was underaged to be carrying a weapon in public in WI (17, law requires 18)
2) he transported a gun across state lines (I'm unclear on what law he broke, but one site made it sound like this was a violation if the gun started in ILL and went to WI)
3) he was out past the 8:PM curfew

Otherwise he was just a law-abiding teen walking around with a deadly assault rifle during volatile protests.

But what about my previous point.
What kind of society permits anyone to walk around in public carrying military style weaponry?  Often a definition of gov't and police is that they have a monopoly on the use of force.  That's what gives them power and keeps most of the rest of the populace peaceful.  That's going out the window.

Anyone who wants to undertake mass murder can now just walk around in public heavily armed until they find a crowd they feel like shooting into.  This will happen.
Someone angry or mentally ill will kill dozens.

The police will have an increasing hard time sorting things out in crowds and protest situations if a significant number of people are armed.  Just as they waved Rittenhouse by as he apparently was surrendering after shooting a few people.

All of this will get worse as it becomes more normalized for people to hang around in public armed.  What's likely to happen is more peopel will satrt arming themselves in public and at BLM protests to be able to protect themselves form the right wing folks who show up with weapons.  The police are going to need to start carrying and having quick access to larger and more powerful weapons as they can't handle the firepower folks are toting around with just service revolvers.

There's going to be an arms race in public which will make everyone less safe.
Completely dangerous and absurd.
