About that idea that democrats will throw a snit fit and pack SCOTUS with more Justices.

Representatives Collin C. Peterson (D-MN) and Denver Riggleman (R-VA) have introduced an amendment to the U.S. Constitution to permanently set the number of U.S. Supreme Court Justices at nine.
The proposed amendment states: “The Supreme Court of the United States shall be composed of nine Justices”.


While this will go nowhere it does indicate that just because the Senate democrat leaders are making revenge threats the rank and file will agree. After the 2008 Obama takeover 62 dems who goose- stepped to his arrogance over the stimulus and ObamaCare were booted out of office.
The number of dems already opposed before Ginsberg’s death( including Biden AND Ginsberg ) is significant and
today West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin added his voice saying  he would not support any party effort to add justices.
Moreover a Post/AP poll today shows 62 per cent of voters also opposed.

Rasmussen, by the way, released a poll today showing Justice Barrett with a 7 point plurality favoring her appointment to the court.

Heh.   All I know is they all get paid astonishing sums to look off-camera and brood. 

There are at least two actors who I think are Sean Bean.  Watch anything on BBC or other British production and you will see someone who seems likely to be Sean Bean.   There have been times when even Alan Rickman has triggered my Sean Bean detector... in radar technician jargon,  that's definitely a bogey.

That is as long as he approves of the President.

Red makes a cogent and hard to assail case as to why the republican party must be discredited and destroyed beyond any hope of recovery, it’s contact lists and stashes of dirty money seized, before any major actions to improve American lives or strengthen our democracy can be taken.
