Trump just burnt a couple more secret service agents to drive around the block, wave to his dumbest supporters, and be rushed right back into the hospital to give the whole world a good idea of how weak and unstable he is right now.

The republican political world is just a Covid cluster of infectiously bad ideas and impulses. All of our culture’s poisons are being steadily drawn into this bulbous pestilential pustule of a republican sack. It’s a rare opportunity to cut off and burn the sack, cauterize the wound to emerge scarred but far healthier and ready to face the future.

Joe’s current ceiling based on trends is 64% of the vote.

Hey, you dodge questions about as well as the Trump doctors and spokespeople do.

Quote
On ABC's "This Week," Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller dodged questions about why Thursday's fundraiser in Bedminster, New Jersey, was not canceled after the White House learned that senior counselor Hope Hicks had tested positive for COVID-19, and pushed back against the notion that the campaign hasn't taken the virus seriously -- despite holding indoor events and not requiring facemasks.

And you accuse CNN of having silly headlines.

Why not acknowledge that the Trump mouths utter stuff far less sensible than the headlines you have kvetched about?!

It was a good stunt to spook the markets today. The size of their drop on Monday will go a long way to soothing trump’s ego as his condition worsens in the hospital.

And still, mocking Biden for his mask-wearing.

Nah, couldn't impact the public's opinion, right?

Quote
On "This Week," even as Trump's personal campaign efforts had ground to a halt during his illness, Miller continued to portray Democratic nominee Joe Biden as being overly cautious regarding the virus.

"I'd say that with regard to Joe Biden I think too often he's used the mask as a prop," Miller said of the former vice president, whose most recent coronavirus tests have all come back negative. "A mask is very important, but even if he's -- he could be 20, 30 feet away from the nearest person, and still have the mask on. That's not going to change anything that's out there."

So Trump gets infected and now proclaims he understands the problem. I imagine the 7 million people who have been infected with the virus and the tens of millions who have been impacted economically and in other ways, are relieved he's aced the take home test, but wished he had opened the pandemic playbook 8 months ago.

That Presidential SUV is not only bulletproof, but hermetically sealed against chemical attack. The risk of COVID19 transmission inside is as high as it gets outside of medical procedures. The irresponsibility is astounding. My thoughts are with the Secret Service forced to play.

Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential “drive-by” just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die. For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater. This is insanity.

Attendees had to test negative for Covid-19 on Thursday, complete a wellness questionnaire and pass a temperature screening, according to a Republican National Committee spokesman. The event site was professionally cleaned and sanitized before the event, and every guest stayed at least 6 feet from the president at all times, the spokesman said.

For the first of two events, which began at 3 p.m., a group of about 20 people sat around a rectangular table for a conversation with Mr. Trump.

During that portion of the event, Mr. Trump spoke about the pandemic, said Rich Roberts, who is 63 and the former head of pharmaceutical company URL Pharma, who said he has contributed about $900,000 to Trump re-election efforts including Trump Victory, the joint effort between the Trump campaign and the Republican National Committee.

The president said four or five vaccines could be approved in the next several weeks, and there is “great progress” on therapeutic drugs with several potentially up for approval in the near future, Dr. Roberts said. Mr. Trump also complained that federal administrators are trying to block or slow down approval of coronavirus vaccines for political reasons

Again. Trump recently crossed a similar rubicon to deface a Bible with his slimy little racist paws. Trump spreads his toxic stains in many forms. While trump does discriminate worse than the least educated among us, he is wantonly and sluttishly indiscriminate in spreading his stain. He gives even the doctors who keep him alive and the federal officers who protect him new reasons to fail by the hour. It’s the flailing of a sick psyche trapped in a sick body in precipitous decline.

There are lessons for people in this.

So, he got together with a bunch of people without masks, using the very loose 6 ft guideline instead of masks, and exposed them to him, because it was a lot more than 15 minutes.

Then he lied to them, repeatedly.

All to raise money.

And to cost the state money and time, of course.

Quote
State health officials in New Jersey have contacted more than 200 people who attended a campaign fundraiser at the Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster on Thursday, hours before the president announced he had COVID-19, as they try to contain the spread of the deadly virus.

Somerset County officials were meanwhile contacting employees who worked the event, most of whom live in the county. In a joint statement issued Sunday, the officials asked guests and employees to monitor their symptoms and, if they were close to President Trump or his staff, to quarantine for 14 days.

The officials, who started seeking the information on Friday, said on Sunday that the White House had sent them a list of 206 guests. They declined to say when they had received the names. They were advising guests not to be tested for five to seven days out from the event.

“While the risk is low, a negative test earlier than that time cannot definitively rule out that COVID-19 will not develop,” the statement said.

White House spokesman Judd Deere said the president had no contact with any donors or staff that “would be considered to be ‘close’ based on CDC guidelines (more than 15 minutes and within 6 feet).”

Because Dr. Trump with a PHD in amorality, greed and selfishness , knows more about new vaccine safety protocol than Federal administrators and real doctors with real expertise.

We all want vaccines for this virus, but we want a safe vaccine that works and won't put people at heightened risk.

this stupid fucker could have controlled the disease with common sense and decency, none of which is in his DNA.

Hey! Trump has been working at Walter Reed! That makes him a medical expert! Besides he knew it was deadly and how it spread in February! Who else knew that?

As for Kiid’s sad whiff,

Did trump stay 6 feet apart from his staff? Did his staff all stay 6 feet apart from the attendees? (Though, if they were some or all maskless in a room together for a while, the 6 feet wouldn’t matter)

Sick slimy superspreaders try to legally distance themselves From potential tragedies they may be causing, but are as lax and lazy as possible behind the scenes and even not quite out of shot of camera.

It’s pretty weak to say your perimeter security has been great when it’s clear you let the killer inside the building.

Trump can’t protect himself, his family, or his place of work, or even his place of care. It’s just that simple.
