The late $21M infusion of cash that rump didn't have until his (possible only) friend Phil Ruffin slipped Trump money from a personal guaranteed loan his casino took out and funneled to Trump as "business expenses."

Both an illegal campaign contribution and false accounting to hide that fact.

Shades of Nixon and a plane full of Howard Hughes casino money from Las Vegas ready ti bail out Nixon in '68.

Trump apparently introduced Phil Ruffin to his very own Eastern European young trophy wife/model (Hungarian born Ukrainian).

The Las Vegas casino moguls came through for Trump after initial skepticism.  Bibi's BFF Sheldon Adelson and wife (she's Israel's richest citizen), Steve Wynn and others coughed up plenty of casino money form Trump in `16.  Funding his inauguration and such.  The Adelsons certainly got plenty of payback, the Iran nuke deal squashed, Iranian sanctions, Israel as a settler's paradise, Jerusalem, the presidential Medal of Freedom for Miriam A., etc.

What did Phil Ruffin get?
Trump Admin approved the high speed train from the CA desert to Las Vegas. So $1B worth of tax free bonds were sold, and work supposed to be starting.  A project Obama nixed as too expensive.  Which would whisk LA money to LV in 90 mins, but would make more sense if it reached LA and not just the high desert.  Of course, the Trump Admin nixed the CA high speed train project which would actually be beneficial to transportation and the economy in CA, instead of just the casino industry in Las vegas.
