Redward,  the projected budget deficit for next fiscal year just blew past the trillion mark.   But hey everything's hunky dory.

Yes. The country is on a proper track after (almost) 2 Trump years.

Let's hope we see it after EIGHT - and the work is not cut short just because 65 million of you just don't think Donald is a nice man.

You read "the projected budget deficit for next fiscal year just blew past the trillion mark" and your response is "the country is on a proper track?!"

Josh,  I didn't reply given that Kid seemed to utterly miss my point.  Even though my point about the economy would seem to be as unmissable as an elephant walking into your living room and taking a fifty kilo shit in your lap.

Totally normal that Republicans would be running for reelection in Congress without mentioning their single biggest “accomplishment” in this Congressional term.

Not talking about Kavanaugh either...

Huh.  Thought that was supposed to be a big boost for them.
It is.
Without the pitiful circus created by the democrats over Kavanaugh there would be an actual chance at a Blue Wave.

Those silly women getting their panties in a twist over a few boofs, miright?  As Needs suggested don't count your red chicks until they hatch.
This a mid-term with an expected very large turnout. The historical averages  for the out-of-power party is 32 in the House and 2 in the Senate.  All we know for sure is that our democracy is functioning quite well. And will continue to do no matter what happens on Tuesday.

Speaking of Republicans, this winner posted a picture of a town, warning the voters that their towns might become like it if they elect Democrats to office.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/31/uk/republican-outrages-uk-village-intl/?iid=ob_lockedrail_topeditorial

Unfortunately for him, he used an English village. No matter how many Dems get elected, it won't happen.

But I sure hope his ad helps to keep him out of the House seat for which he is running.

By that Red means republican judges allow republican grifters to continue to steal votes.

I think Red is merely positioning and parrotting the expected hollow Repub claim, that if Dems don't pick-up 2 Senate seats, it will be a great Trump victory,

An affirmation of his tainted and tampered with and colluded with '16 election.

What is obvious and ignored in Red's post is the Dems Senate seats at risk in this election dwarf Repub seats at risk, making Dem Senate gains most unlikely this year.

Lastly, Red's claim to a healthy democracy remains to be seen, as one party's dalliance with Russo-fascists and its active courting of American national socialists, while actvely attacking our free press, and supressing likely Dem voters, seems only to divide us, and bodes ill for our country.

It was a story that ran in the Washington Examiner from a self-serving State Department report which did its best in failing to provide what a criminal record is.

I'm calling it a statement without any source, Kiid.

Remember that concept called citations, where you list where you got your stat from?

Or are you following in Herr Trump's path?

Of course. Anyone who can read a map and count knew that any net gain for Dems in the Senate was a long shot, but Trump is starting to message how he "saved the Senate".

What's scary is we're getting so numbed to Trump's amoral and cynical mindset that no one even blinks when his take on a mass shooting and mailed bombs is that it's "lost momentum."  Yeah,  that's the real  problem with piles of dead people: lost momentum.  This profound callousness is precisely why many people at Tree of Life didn't want Trump to attend the memorial service.
