NORTH CAROLINA

Among the 47% who say they have already voted, however, Biden has a 14-point lead – 55% to 41%.

Leaving the math to you.

Kelly lead cut to 2 points in AZ

Let's go!
Until you add "in the Rasmussen poll" to your "lead cut" verbiage people will continue to shake their heads at you.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/investigations/2020/10/22/trumps-campaign-made-stops-nationwide-then-coronavirus-cases-surged/3679534001

Coronavirus cases have surged after at least five of Trump's rallies.

There are other potentially compounding factors, some of which are discussed in the article.

This is not proof that the rallies caused the growth, though the notion that they are neutral influences seems odd, too.

I really should mention how normal life is here and has been for months.
On my way home from hoops tonight I cut through the one local stadium grounds, and there were dozens, maybe up to 100 people on a Friday night jogging or walking along the running track.  On the field in the center there were three games of football in progress.  I drifted over past the basketball courts and there were  games going at all 4 baskets.  Totally normal, and maybe a bit fewer than normal for a Friday night, though I couldn't tell if that was a virus thing or because the weather just got a little chilly this week (mid-50's at night) for the first time.

Restaurants are full, people out on the streets, large groups of people dancing in the parks (April-June they were allowed but had to be spaced out).  The only thing not allowed is large crowds.  Such as at sporting events and theaters are 50% capacity (unless that's been upped).  And a fair % either wear masks or have them on their chin or as arm bands (so available).  I'd estimate 15% wearing them and another 10 have them -- though some have them because buses and subway require them.

Hugely normal life here.
Also, China's economy grew by 5% in the 3Q.
We'll see if Biden can halt the American slide.
Since both Obama and Trump got only 2 years with a Congress from their party, Biden better plan on getting as much as possible done in 2 years, and start almost immediately strategizing keeping the House and Senate in 2022.

And Breyer might want to retire (he's 82) if there's a full Dem congress.

An entertaining read for most of us.

And remember - Trump is up 3 in Florida and he knows more about wind than you do.

Trump up 3 in Florida

538 composite of polls has Biden up 3.3 in Florida.   Ever occurred to anyone that Rasmussen,  due to its reputation, is a bit more likely to get agreement to participate in a poll from someone Trump leaning?

Yes, but not from Trump adherents.

Yes,  yes it has occurred.  Rassmataz is not only an outlier,  but now widely known as a Trump favoring outlier.   (or "outliar" as some put it)   Which means a certain percent of phone answerers,  having a negative view of the organization,  may be more likely to hang up.   And that would be a skew that's really hard to fix.   What are they going to say,  "Hi,  we're an anonymous polling organization, would you like to...
