You recently compared an airborn virus , an act of nature to a 15 year demonic plan to exterminate European Jews (and other undesriables).

And this is where you leave the land of facts, Banks.

It was not the airborne virus and "act of nature" that was the comparison, no matter how frequently you insist that it was.

It was the intentional withholding of aid by the federal government after Jared realized that it was predominantly hitting blue states and especially Blacks that was compared to Hitler's efforts, while acknowledging that it was not the same.

And you are unlikely to admit that, either, because you don't back down very well.

But that was what happened in multiple views, even if you don't see it.

Are you out of your fucking mind?

and thats a rhetorical question as you seem to be dancing to the tune of holocaust denial and I'm franky surprised.

But dance if you must.

No one is denying for a second that Trump fucked this up in all sorts of ways, from lieing, withholding information, denying science, providing no leadership on the issue, and seemingly encouraging ther spread for what he thought was for his political gain. He didn't want to hurt the economy or the market. He was half-right. The market miraculously held value. Of course it took the Fed and $3 trillion of stimulus to pump the motherfucker up.

But the comparison at the time that this was Trump's Final solution.

A Final Solution to what-pesky Democrats?

we'll just kill the libs!

I hate Trump almost as much as the next guy, but I don't beleive in fucking insane conspiracy theories.

Most understand what Hitler Final Solution was, at least the big picture.

it was the planned extermination of 10 million European Jews and other non-desirables, like gypsies, homosexuals.

And it exterminated about two-thirds of the European Jews.

It was planned, very specfic and an act of a mad-man, carried out over 15 or so years.

The comparison of the holocaust to trump's ineptitude handling the public health issues was gross and minimized the holocaust.

and Josh there is nothing for me to back down from those are facts and no amount of your bullshit misplaced condescension will change the sad history of either Germany from 1932-1945 nor America in 2020 when an airborne virus killed 250,000 (and rising) and that with a competent president providing competent leadership could have controlled.

As it was elsewhere.

Holocaust denial?

Motherfucker.

You’re a lying sack of shit.

You act as if this virus was just an “Oopsie!”  by an incompetent asshole and that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Donald Trump’s 2016 election campaign, with its vows to enforce state violence against Mexican immigrants, Muslims, and black Americans, was built on a promise to enforce terms of the racial contract that Barack Obama had ostensibly neglected, or violated by his presence. Trump’s administration, in carrying out an explicitly discriminatory agenda that valorizes cruelty, war crimes, and the entrenchment of white political power, represents a revitalized commitment to the racial contract.

But the pandemic has introduced a new clause to the racial contract. The lives of disproportionately black and brown workers are being sacrificed to fuel the engine of a faltering economy, by a president who disdains them. This is the COVID contract.

https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2020/05/americas-racial-contract-showing/611389/

You’re stuck in a cycle of denial to the point where you make up a fact and defend it as gospel.

Stop conflating the terrible racist Trump is, his awgful racist policies with his being wholy unfit to be president and lead this country in a time   of crisis.

The virus was controlled in otherparts of the world. Trump fucked it up. and we, people of all colors, all relgions, all ages, are paying the price for his gross incompetence.

Again I do not know why you chose to use Final solution to describe covid 19,

But it was very offensive.

Given that I have said nothing that touches within a country mile of holocaust denial, your issues with this are yours, not mine.

I'm done pretending that you and I are discussing anything in common.

You are inventing arguments out of thin air while denying straight forward statements. It's beyond "more sensitive to the holocaust than they are."

I will leave you to get your last word in, because you always want to get the last word in, then this topic is over.

Josh-The point was you totally ignored the obvious connection of Knicks final Solution to THE FINAL SOLUTION.

It was if it didn't exist.

And to some it didn't.

and Josh if you have a difficult time addressing what was being discussed, perhps you should STFU.

and maybe spend more time lecturing Red

as you have every fucking day for 4 years.

My fucking word the hypocrisy you display.

Comparing two historical events to one another, rightly or wrongly, is affirming that both events are real things that happened. What may be an inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading comparison is still categorically different than a denial of either event.

If you cannot tell the difference between this conversation and what passes with Ward, that, too, is your problem.

But this sub-topic is over.

You think putting up the c+ is somehow hurtful?

You can argue the scholarship all you want, I won’t argue, I was damn grateful for that fucking B.

But as far as the assertions of the Republican Party using race and the fear of blackness to its strategic political advantage over the last fifty  that is a fact in evidence that can be proven just by reading court decisions.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2016/07/29/the-smoking-gun-proving-north-carolina-republicans-tried-to-disenfranchise-black-voters/

You’re a pathetic pendant who argument is “I’m right you’re wrong because I said so.”

Each time you’ve flipped the fuck out like this is over an opinion of yours you swear is the gospel truth.

You’re no better than Trump. Gonna make up shit and get pissed when called on your bullshit.

You’re a fairly bright guy but you’re a blockhead because you can never see any perspective but your own and that make you a fucking idiot.

Pray your circumstances never change because if you can’t adapt and move with the circumstances you won’t last.

The sub-topic is over for everybody, not just for Banks.

Banks can't acknowledge that the deaths of blue state citizens, of democratic party voters, of POC, was intentional on the part of the Trump administration. He keeps insisting it was "only" incompetence.

So, he cannot see the parallel.

Our repeating to him that the intentionality of those deaths creates a parallel is not going to get anywhere.

So, let us just accept that his sensitivity on this issue precludes dialog, drop it, and move on.

All of us.

A Staten Island pub located in a coronavirus hot spot is stealing a page from Seattle’s anarchist cookbook, declaring itself an “autonomous zone,” free from the public-safety restrictions its owners say they will refuse to abide by.

ATTENTION! We hereby declare this establishment an !!!AUTONOMOUS ZONE!
Bread signs outside and around Mac’s Public House in Grant City, invoking a phrase more commonly associated with the monthlong occupation of Capitol Hill in the Emerald City by anti-cop radicals. “We refuse to abide by any rules and regulations put forth by the Mayor of NYC and Governor of NY State.”
Hallelujah!

Despite promising me the "last word" Pope Josh deleted my response.

Bad form Pope Josh.

Even a pope with a modest knowledge of law understands insane allegations of conspiracy theories need evidence.

And Pope Josh has no evidence

But he does have the power to delete.
